I've heard of putting them in black film cases, because they're dark and has a good seal. And then, storing them in the fridge, for how long...I don't know.

Can anyone confirm this?:blsmoke:

I've always heard glass is better than plastic. For long term storage you need your jars to be airtight, in a cool dark place imo.

thanx guy's, i have my buds in a glass jar at the moment " burping " away nicely. i wil try a small amount in a plastic container to see how it gets on in the fridge.

Let us know how long it stays fresh for!

I mentioned black containers because it stops direct sunlight breaking it down...:blsmoke:

if you heat the jars first in the oven on low, you can store for years and years. like making jam.

this is wat im gonna use.only to cure it, or store it. just put in a dark place coz light degrades thc.

when you heat the jars, the air cools and compresses forming a tight seal, like you would with pickles or jam. you know when you open a jar of food and hear that 'pop'? that's a tight seal baby. you can store it for years that way. i read about it in my high times grow guide.

i read about it in my high times grow guide. you heat the jars at about 150 degrees (not too high) so when they cool, the air creates a suction. like when you open a jar and you hear that 'pop'. you can store for years that way if they are cured properly. if you just screw a lid on a jar, it's not vaccumed sealed for freshness.
