do you have any idea of what your ppms are? Also what strain are you growing, based on the pistils and the swelling of the calyx's it looks like you may have a few weeks to go until they are mature.
I do believe it is salt buildup (over fertilization) like smokeybandit said. Also one thing I have experienced first hand is that when lights are intense on a particular part of a plant while there is excessive or close to the max amount of nutes a plant can handle, the parts of the plants to first get hit are the ones where the bright spots are from the lights, I've seen it first hand several times. So this is why it is a coincidence that your plants are doing this on the side where you have extra cfls shining.
Lower your ppms, or just give them plain water for a few days, they are saturated with nutes anyways so don't worry, but still adjust the ph. Also Move all lighting away from that side and on to another area of the plant and distance all your lights firther away, not to drastic but just give them some reprieve from the intensity of the lumens. I believe this should help your situation get back on track
