newbie that needs help from the pros and questions

Yes hi . I have a plant going in my closet i am using the 2 feet t12 round tubes. 20 watts a piece . I have made a box cover that has alumi foil all around it . I was wondering what type of cfl light i need or is the light i have now ok . there on a timer that is 18/6 is that good . Can put pictures on if needed plz help me and i am using PURE BLEND PRO GROW 3-2-4 to feed is that ok . And i am pretty sure that she is a female . help

Make the light work for you the best it can for it's wattage make sure that the light is near on touching the plant.try it so your fingers just fit between the plant and the light.if it is alittle warm higher a tad but just a tad.i must say this at least 30 times a day on differant sites.this is one if not the most important thing after air flow the closer the light the closer the internodes will be.if the light is high it will still grow and look good but the key to getting the biggest yeilds is to get them lights close.but you will need to up the power a little bro i know sometimes money is a f@cker but even if you add 4 cfl's on downlighters on the sides of the grow area this will increase the yeiled a little.then when you do get the money to get some hid/hps lights your left with a nice little cloneing/mother room.get 4 old lamp fittings if you havent the money for the downlighters.but the down lighters cost me around £10 for 4 and then get some cfls in them the one's that are the same has a 100watt light bulb.

these look good, 125 Watt Compact Fluorescent Bulb - Daylight, haven't tried it. i use t5 tubes to start my plants the HID lights to finish

Hey man not bad at all. That girl looks pretty nice. She wont get very big in that little pot, So I would transplant if possible. What soil is that? It looks kina thick like mulch or something. That can cause the banzi effect and slow growth.
Also more light never hurts. Cut a hole in the box with a small fan or something to keep the heat out.

ok well i have new soil that is miracle-gro mosture control is that ok or get a different kind . And is my 18/6 good or should i change the llight timer. And what size should i transplant to . And is pure blend 3-2-4 grow ok to use . Now i was wondering what stage is she in right now and what should i do from hear . Hey thanks again for all the help

well i am not a pro, I think you should transplant into a pot double your size, get rid of the miracle grow/tree bark as much as possible.(dont hurt the root ball during transplant). and after you let everything chill for a bit, i would switch to 12/12 and get some more light.. good luck and i hope its a she.

by the way, if you have not all ready get rid of that foil, its a nightmare like the other guy said. and if and when u buy another light for this plant. make sure its more in the red spectrum for flowering.

the 3-2-4 should be fine until your 2nd/third week of flowering. i would not use the miracle grow... i know you can but i wouldn't. just get some foxfarm soil. but you are gonna need more light and you have to make a decision if your gonna go hid or fluro's for flower. what are you gonna do? by the way your plant looks great.

sorry i forgot, you asked what stage ur in. it looks like 3rd week of veg to me. is this from seed or a clone?

well if you want big buds, i was just suggesting that you look into a red spectrum mh/hps 250 watt or whatever it makes the buds so much larger. maybe go a couple more weeks of vegging. then i would switch it up to 12/12. you can introduce more lighting at any time during these cycles. and imo it would be a very good idea if your looking for results.
