Did anyone else hear the space shuttle today? Nice boom but a bit muffled by the wind, usually I get a nice sharp double boom.

i'm familiar with that soil. just dig about a foot down, and a pretty decent sized circle. get it mixed up and air-rated real well.
ive noticed the darker the soil here the less sand. hope your going to atleast feed them.

Every one make sure your plots aren't dry swamps at the moment.

could use some tips for growing in the woods just north of tampa. I already have 10 plants growing in 2 gal pots that I placed in the woods and are doing great! I have about 100 seeds left, but I dont have any pots or dirt left. I tried planting some in the ground, but none sprouted. Is the florida soil too sandy?

where Im at its very windy today and theres supose to be a severe thunderstorm tonight. my plants are in pots but too far away for me to bring them in, they are pretty healthy looking but only a couple of weeks old. What should I do?

Well being a couple of weeks old only, and a full 2 days of strong wind, they are probably exhausted. I would cover them. Depending on how many you have muck buckets or something similar and put a good sized brick on top. A lighter solution of which i have built many for just such an occasion is a small wood frame with a thick plastic cover. Put your pots together and use something like that.

dank indeed!! thank ya dudes....i weighed bout bout 2 grams of dank buds, and then didn't weigh anything else, just dumped in prob an 8th of trim and a bunch of little stems...the result of this was very potent bubbly goodness...i just conducted another experiment, i used a bunch of straight stems from my last grow, and get this, it's fucking brilliant, old nug jars i had sitting around, bout 6, pour a bit of the isp alcohol(71% or 91%) in the bottom and vigorously swish it around, then pour into next container and so forth, you get the idea, then combined with stem juice and did same process as before...it worked like a fucking charm, produced a gram of gooey candy, but i noticed it wasn't as potent and pure as my 1st batch, but very fucking good none the less....i will say it's smart to open windows and i direct a large fan blowing out, also cover you're face, i just tied a towel round nose and mouth, it will stink to high hell while you're doin this but it's not a problem for me as its only like this for the 20 min you are doin it, after it airs out fast...have fun, be safe and smart about it and it's a blast!! :peace:

I used to grow in the Great Dismal Swamp, talk about a lot of nasty shit. I knew those fucking bogs better than anyone though. That's the most important part of outdoor growing. Knowing your routes.

Sublime, Do you still live aroung the big dismal swamp area? I know it well.

I got a batch going right now, its on the stove trying to evaporate. I had a bunch bud trimming in the freezer.
yeah natrone, you'll love it!! i busted out my gir's hairdryer to speed up the process, worked really well, i'd avise it, and you can aim those horrid, dangerous fums out a window...i always wonder what the neighbors think of that smell, caus they have their windows open alot, haha, but their cool, so its all good....

Martin County in the house baby. Palm Beach and Broward, I see you. Stand up. Pretty new to growing, but it seems to be a pretty cool hobby. I'm 2 weeks into an indoor grow, but may have to ditch it for reasons i wont go into details about. But anyway, good to see all these Floridians on RIU. I'm born and raised, been living in south Florida most of my life, but now I live in the capitol.
Nice to have you aboard...

I think i'll do an experiment sometime with just shaking it for 20 seconds in a mason jar vs. using my magic bullet for 10 seconds. just to see if there's a difference in the end.
