they are stretching for light it sounds like... my 1st ever batch of clones were put in soil 2 weeks ago and have very nice rootballs but still havent shown much new growth!!!!!! depending on what light ur using adjust the distance of light from leafs

I had this happen recently. We narrowed it down to bad genetics, or a mis-timed fertilization of highly concentrated seaweed extract two weeks prior to 12/12. The plants put out good bud, but very, very little.

Well the first go round with this strain went very well so genetics is prob. Not. Light on the other hand maybe but they are only about 30" from 600 watter. Calcium magnesium def. Maybe ya'll think. They havent had much nutrients up until this point

what medium do you have them in? Like soil, rockwool, coco, hydroton...etc also sounds like it might be stretching a bit what lighting are you using? and how close do you have it to the plants. what is your light cycle?

well im 20/4 right now 25-30" from 600W mh cool conversion sunmaster. temps are 72-77 at all times. humidity is roughly 50% and i have a mix of ocean farms and sunshine cut mix. all organic nutrients. very little amounts of botanicare grow and superthrive and root juice. has been in room for about a week or 2. does that still sound like a light prob. or a deffieciency of some sort, cal mag or something....thanks bro:bigjoint::dunce:

Could they have been taken from a mom in early flower? I've had cuttings I took 7-10 days after flipping to 12/12 and they went through a pretty weird freakout revegging. Eventually they went back to normal but it took a long time. There are some pix in my current grow journal. Take a look and see if they look anything like yours.

Your Leaves could have gone into "nutrient twist" or whatever you wanna call it. I had an AK-47 clone from the club that did the same thing when I put too much foxfarm big bud into it. It took about a week to 10 days but it rebounded nicely with a flsuh and is getting ready to flower now.

Hey Shotty,

How are your clones? Did/do they look like this? These are taken 6 days into flowering and are now slowly revegging.

are those old pics? and what did u do to correct them is so
I took that pic yesterday, but this has happened to me before. My three smaller current flowering girls were like that and it took 60 days easily before they started throwing out normal leaves. It's pretty clear that they regress; they put out 7, then 5, then 3, then single leaves. It's like they become seedlings again and whatever preflowers were on them when you first cut it have to completely mature before they 'let the plant go' and let it reveg. I'm guessing that flowering parts generate hormones which control what the rest of the plant does, so until the flowers are done, the plant is a helpless zombie. Does that make sense to you?

Your confirmation that this is what your clones look like satisfies me that my analysis is correct. So your clones will be fine, you just have to be patient.

I was looking at your fine harvest though, and it looks like you've got no pressure to make those clones perform for a while. Nice going! +rep.

lol u are right. im good for a couple days.......well was actuallt thinking of just putting them into flowering now and just have a main cola bud instaed of all the others. i know it would be nice to wait and get more but that will throw off my rotation and i cant afford that. my local hydro store manager said this aslo, that it would be ok to flower now but i would lose approx. 25% yield.....
