yeah probly just 5 weeks in nice estamate

i would of had more bud had i not let the plant veg for so long because of where im growing and my experiance level

can u explain the disadvantages of using tin foil ,in comparison to mylar,i thort it only had to reflect lite and thats what its doing,but please explain

Tin foil has a different finish than mylar, and with all the creases in tin foil a HID will bounce its rays in different directions creating hot spots which could potentially burn ur plants leaves.

But If U are Using CFL's U dont have to worry about hot spots, CFLs dont produce enough light to create them.

well it sorta was a last resort i got some aluminium tape from work and id thort it would be mint,im drapping it from the hood of the 250watt mh

with that said what abot flat whit what is the reflectivnes of that compared to foil?

a great option for large grow rooms or for people who are interested in a low maintenance wall. Flat white paint has the ability to reflect between 75-85% of the light, and does not create hotspots. Adding a fungicide is recommended when painting.

Glossy and eggshell whites not reflect light as efficiently as flat white. Semi-gloss paint for example, only has the ability to reflect between 55-60% of the light. Also important to remember when using paint is that any smears or blemishes on the surface take away from how reflective the wall is so care should be taken to avoid marking or staining the walls. Titanium white paint is very reflective; however it is usually only used on reflectors due to its high cost.

Flat white is actually second best when compared to mylar.
But comparing Flat white to Tin Foil is kind like comparing Tobacco to Weed
(tin foil always loses) the reflectiveness cant stand next to an all white room.
But with mylar on the walls its extra shiney!:-P

well due to the money involved in the setup,and due to some miss leading info about the lights i was told u can grow a decent crop with a mh light it cost me 250 bucks
if i new what i know now there yer i would of got a hps for sure,but its my last grow for a wile the misses is driving me mental about it and i dont wanna outlay anymore money

Round hur we blow trees!...Yea man I'm down with your grow:D It's about having fun lol and it seems to be entertaining you well enough. But fuck don't get in trouble with the law over it you should make a last ditch plan to get rid of that shit quick...Maybe chop up the plant and flush it and toss the soil out your window? Idk how much time you have to get rid of that shit though.

haha why thanks... really though, by October i'll have up my serious grow, which you guys won't have to shake your heads over and mutter to yourself "dumb@$$..."
... which is what i'm sensing a few have done so far

.... should be great, i'm waiting for April more than little kids wait for Christmas...

oh i'll probably have a fan over it, which should at least put some fears of fire at bay. And it's right next to my bed i'll have a good warning should anything horribly disastrous happen...
