alright, they're 4 weeks today, going to put them into flower in a few days once the topped sites have grown back. ive got the 2 nice big bushy ones that i moved to opposite sides of the AG last night, with a few littles here and there. i've also noticed some clear liquid on some of the leaves at random times, anyone know what this stuff is and what causes it? there's also some small yellow spots on the some of the lower/fan leaves, but i havent really been worryin about them b/c growth has been good. that's about it for now. any advice/suggestions/questions are welcome.

so i woke up this morning to check the plants and try to make a more efficient light set up, and my big cfl was dead! it lasted all of 12 hours. i emailed the place i bought it from and asked for a replacement. now i'm waiting and flowering with only the stock AG hood. i am so disappointed i cannot even begin to express it. i know it's not that big a deal, but i was hoping i could get everything right the first time. fucking murphy's law. on another note, for anyone that lives near central florida, i found a dealer with 400w sunsystem hps lights w/ ballast and reflector for 100 bucks. looks like i found my xmas present. these cfl's are great for vegging, but i don't think i'm going to get the results i want using them for flower. oh well. i'll update later if i hear back from the hydro store about the bulb.

I wouldnt personally flower those young plants. But that does not mean u cant. Just gonna get a small yield. Is there anyway we can see the containers there in? Or root pictures if there exposed. I still have no idea what the underbelly of that contraption looks like yet....lol

about the light...there's a listing on ebay. the guy has like 25 he said. they're up for 105 buy it now.

about the roots...i'll get some pics up tomorrow. i've been studying all day for a final tomorrow and didnt get a chance to check on them before the lights went off. i'll get some pics of the roots tomorrow after i take my final along with updated pics.

about flowering so small/young...yeah, i figured as much when i did it. this was basically just a tutorial for me. i'm moving in a few weeks and just wanted to get in a quick learning grow before i move and build myself a dwc. the 2 bushy one's are huge now, and the other 3 small ones are blossoming out a little, but still small. i'm just hoping one of those bushy ones is a female so i can just concentrate on her and get a little free smoke.

alright. finally an update with pics. they are a week into 12/12, but still with a daylight bulb in the big reflector light. the bulb i had burned out after the first day of 12/12 and the new one will be here today. i itried to take good closeups but couldn't really get that close. they're scaring me and looking like balls but it's only been a week in 12/12! did i do something wrong or is it still too early to tell? included are pics of my ghetto light setup and roots. these roots aren't as strong as the ones on the male i grew last grow.

That first pix is a boy! Not a bad setup. If it works, it's all good.

Are you going to get an HPS for flowering? It should make dense buds. Without it, you'll get fluffy buds and less resin.

If you're interested, you can get a 125 w hps from HTGarden Supply on ebay for $89 and free shipping. I didnt want to go larger due to the electric bill and because I don't think it's necessary with the AG.

well, i've decided to use it for the end/flush stage of my flowering. i did some research and found out that you can use maple syrup, but molasses is supposed to be better b/c it has more stuff in it for your plant. i'll probably just use the maple i have since i don't feel like buying molasses. i have some pure florida sugar cane syrup as well. that shit's as thick as molasses. maybe i'll look into that? either way, i'm replacing nutes with sugar water for the flushing.

I'd think twice about adding other stuff. The AG's res is only a gallon and you can sure fuck it up quickly if you dont be careful what you put in there. You sure dont want to kill them the last couple weeks of flowering.

Me, I'll use just Clearex & water the last 2 weeks to clense them of nutes.

what's up guys. i chopped the first one shortly after i posted the pics. made me sad. he sexed really quick. as for the sugar thing, i'm not doing that now...got some input that made me think otherwise. about the light...i'm building a 5 site dwc in rubbermaid that i'm going to buy a 400 watter for after this and just use the AG for clones from the first batch.

thanks man. this is goin pretty shitty. i didn't go into specifics as much as i'd like and i don't have as good a light as i'd like. i think i'm being turned into a believer that the AG is for cloning and not growing. can't wait to get my new hps for xmas!
