Happy Christmas. I hope it treats you well!Thank you @Rsawr
I went ahead and ordered one you know being Christmas and atheir treating myself.
I got a 19" vevor for £80 with a drying rack and pruning shears.
There's a vid out there that peaked my interest... I grabbed the exact same model from the video.I was looking at some earlier one of the adds mentioned the serated blade in relation to dry trimming?
@Tmik Thank you, I kinda suspected they're all much the same I suppose I was hoping there's a model that's preferable for whatever reasons.
Interesting video, I wonder if a 3D printer would make that screen? There's a vid out there that peaked my interest... I grabbed the exact same model from the video.
They sell them (little expensive) on their ownInteresting video, I wonder if a 3D printer would make that screen?
I'd literally just spent my money now I'm thinking I'd be better getting the one in the video If it's better. There's a vid out there that peaked my interest... I grabbed the exact same model from the video.
This is my first trimmer and have nothing to compare it too, still brand new in the box. Waiting for my buds to dry so I can trim them, hopefully within the week.I'd literally just spent my money now I'm thinking I'd be better getting the one in the video If it's better.
Do you agree with the dude in the video about the overall job that one makes, how do you get on with it I'd appreciate your personal opinion?
Yeah, straight for wet , serrated for dry.I just grabbed one and no instructions as to which blade is for dry trimming, my guess is the serrated blade?

In our market there's not much difference between the more expensive ones and the cheaper ones. Are there any bowl trimmers you folk's would recommend to buy or avoid?
I just watched it now.I've looked at more trimmers a bit closer I'm noticing that type grate is a feature you find on professional automated and models costing many hundreds of pounds.
There's one identical costing £415.
@coreywebster have you checked out the type trimmers that @Week4@inCharge posted?
Apparently they're a bit easier on the bud and make a better/good job, I'd be happy with the results I'm seeing on yt.
LOL..that would be funny, and possibly true! He did say it didn't matter which blade you put on, and now that you mention it, has me wondering if the blade is involved at all! Well, I'm days away from using it. I got it for my buds I hate to trim, the mid to lower buds. And one of my tents didn't go so well, so that entire grow will be the guinea pig for this leaf trimmer. In my opinion the only thing he's doing is knocking the dry leaf off on that screen and not the blade. Otherwise it wouldn't look so tight.
AgreeYes @coreywebster after a 2nd look I picked up he hadn't adjusted the blade if it was 1/4 inch below the grate so it didn't make sense that it would trim so tight.
I watched a video demo with the wet trim, the end results was tragic. With the exact same trimmer I purchased. The dry trim demo (posted above) came out clean.Yeah, straight for wet , serrated for dry.
Strongly recommend doing it wet
Fair enough, user error is a high possibility. I did see the height adjustment. I'm gonna try this thing "as is" on the initial use and then adjust as needed. I've been hand trimming since I started growing about 3.5+ years ago, it was a nice learning curve. I usually slap on some vintage late 60's jazz and go to town on my buds. Now with these trimmers... Might be some Tupac...I see you can adjust the blade height on the pot type, speaking of which @Week4@inCharge was it the same dude you watched with the tragic results?
Idk maybe he's still not caught on to blade adjustment?
If you ave a look at others that share the grate you'll see they make a nice job, I dry trim I've not looked at any wet trim vids with vevor, I'm unable to open that link something about a being a bot lol but I'm curious to see it I ended up ordering one the same as yours.
Sounds like we're all gonna find out about the same time with all these new leaf trimmers coming in.Staying with this thread because I was about to pull the trigger on one of the older style ones....but I have to learn more. I prefer to dry my plants, whole, and then dry trim. I wonder which design is best for dry trimming?
