I'll start with the Apples and bananas strain, it's very hard to describe and everyone has something a little different to say, first I will say its like nothing you've ever smelled before - brand new terps as far as I am concerned. there's basically 3 distinct phases of the smell for me, its kushy at first - the smooth sort of velvety/earthy/pine kush with a strong bite. Next there is this element of ripe fruit -
@Senokai says ripe banana peels which I can totally see and agree with but my nose finds it more to be melon-ish but like the rind of a cantelope- not the sweet fruit but a 'fruit like' smell, Lastly the final smell that seems to appear at the end is an astringent/gas like smell that is again very unique in its presentation and translates to a rich musty flavor.
Squirt Sak has all the core elements of a good orange strain - like Tangie, or bag of oranges - heavy orange and various citrus tones but with an added strange overtone, a biting/stinging twist that's almost like amonia, its a smell you can practically taste woven into the orange that comes from the Kwazulu.
