Shout out to everyone on RIU! I hope your all enjoying good grows and reaping the benefits of the work that goes into a successful run.
With that said, I'm going to attempt to keep notes on this run from start to finish. I'll be running some Green Crack, Trizzler and Double Grape. My setup has not changed. Spiderfarmer 4000 and King Plus total wall watts 730. It's in a 5x5 tent, with an 8" AC Infinity in-line venting outdoors. These girls just popped the soil 2 days ago. The soil set-up is Fox Farm Ocean Forest, along with that, I amended for each bag, 8 solo cups of earthworm castings. 3 cups blood meal, 3cups bone meal and roughly 25 to 30 % coarse perlite. After the soil is mixed I fill the 5 or 3 gallon fabric pots with about 2 to 3 inches of the mix then layer 3 table spoons of blood meal and 3 table spoons of bone meal. Then fill the bags but, leave about 3 inches from full. That space I will save for top dressing later in the run. Plan to top dress 2 times in the run. That's it for today.

So we made it through a week! Not a whole lot to report on this run yet. This is the calm before the storm. They have been above the soil 7 days now. I did grab my PAR/DLI adjustments and get that settled in. Here in Ohio this week it has been a bit of a challenge. Mid to upper 90's outdoors. My ac is running a good bit. As you can see from the pervious photo last week. I started with 9 seedlings, and now down to 8. I lost a (Trizkit) from Twenty 20 Mendocino. It was a freebie, but still wanted to check it out. I like their gear. So Green Crack took it's place. I'm looking for 7 or 8 plants on this run. I always pop more than I need. (Friends like me this way.) Today I will move from 40 ml watering to 80 ml. Remember water only at this point. I'm running my humidifier 24/7 to maintain roughly 60% r/h. Leaf temps are right at 81-82 degrees. That's about all I have today. I hope everyone on RIU is lighting it up! Enjoy the Holiday weekend, and grow well my friends.

Welcome my friend! Yep growing dem autos in the dirt. Thanks for the kind words, I'm still thinking bout changing the lighting to HLG. I'm seeing and hearing that is some pretty good things about them. I see your set-up is amazing. Been stalking your current run and gotta give you props on your skills. Very impressive! TBH I have so much fun trying to craft growing. Every day is something new from seeds to lighting, airflow, temperature, humidity, par, dli.

It is an everyday thing for us and no matter the challenge we seem to always want more..lol

From what I see and read your passion for growing and know how runs pretty deep. I'm excited to see what ya do with autos. I'll be starting a few real soon. Entered some grow off. Gonna grow 3 and choose 1 for the contest. Should be fun.

Alright, we are officially 3 weeks into this run. Been a slow grind, but we are getting things done. The Double Grape already is giving off some smells. Have the 1st ewc/fresh FFOF top dress next week. Then plain water followed by seaweed/ewc tea. I cannot stress enough. That is the plan! The plants always dictate what happens. I hope everyone is having a great summer and you outdoor people get rocking those buds! Around here October marks the end of outdoor runs. Happy growing!

Memphisto Double Grape I like a lot. The wife tells me that the double grape is one that she actually smells and tastes grape. The high is strong and relaxing. My go to for night time high. I have run their Forum Stompers as well. It is a more earthly taste but the high is much better day time high. Not so much couch lock. Both are good yeilders. Average about 3 zips per plant. I'm in a 5 x 5 and normally try to run 7 plants per run. I also have run their Wedding, it yeilds strong however the high I didn't feel was as strong/intense as what I am used to. With that said, I'm sure my tolerance is pretty high. Couple of pictures from my Memphisto runs. This run I'm going to try 8 plants. We will see how that works out. It will be tight for sure.

Day 30. The plants are starting to stretch. I have 2 that stunted last week so they are lagging a bit. Judging by the leaf color, I think they don't care a lot for the hot soil I am running. Have to see if they are going to be along for the ride or not. This next week will be a sink or swim for them. I am currently brewing their 1st tea and will be giving them the tea brew today. I have put in the 2nd led, however not going to fire that light up til the stretch is over as it leans more red than blue. The temperatures are maintaining very well (78-80) despite the crazy 90 degrees Ohio outdoor temperatures. Lights out temperatures (72-74 degrees). Going to run the 18/6 light schedule all the way to the end. Currently my DLI is running at 38. Average plant height today 12 to 14 inches (except for the 2 slow learning plants I talked about) they are only about 9 inches in height and testing my patience. Just before I give the tea today I will add some growers recharge to the tea and that should help move things along. That's about all I have today. I hope everyone is doing well, enjoy the weekend, grow strong!

Just found your grow…..glad I did. I’ve grown for a long time…..but mostly outdoors and years ago when I was a college puke. I realize now just how lucky I was as I knew practically nothing about growing but had some amazing harvests yr after yr.
Anyway, when I decided to jump into the indoor scene I tried some autos. I found them more challenging than photos and I always seemed to have an issue early that resulted in a small plant.
I went back to photos and haven’t looked back.
Maybe your grow will give me the motivation to try them again.
With all of my auto grows the plants were starting to flower by day 30…..I’d love to find a strain that vegs a little longer.
Yours look great. I grow organically under 2 different HLG lights and cannot say enough good things about them. Rock hard buds every time and great canopy penetration.
Do u mix up your medium way ahead of time or let the Ocean Forest feed them until the amendments start cookin?
Good luck and I’m excited to see how things go.

Thank you for the kind words! Yes I make adds to the soil before I plant the germinated seed in their final pot. At the top of this thread I explain what and how much I add. I like 5 gallon pots but 3 gallon pot are good as well. I ran photo plants before I came across #Budzbuddha on RIU. I can not recommend looking into his posts enough. He changed my outlook on autos completely. He details in his post the method I use. Strongly urge you to check it out.

Man U don’t know how much Buddzbuddha has helped me. I totally changed my entire philosophy after tuning in to him. I would highly recommend that anyone looking to find their style to listen to him.
That guy is probably responsible for helping more growers than u can imagine.
