Doesn't always have the bag appeal people look for but personally that means very little. You smoked any of that GT yet?
Yes, it was unsmokable for the first month of the cure. Overwhelming potency with a long duration combined with high anxiety with a trippy negative paranoia. The first month or two it was unsmokable. BUT after about 3 months in the jar it mellowed out and became really wonderful! Exactly how ace described it! I dont care about bag appeal either. Do you guys think those buds look good?
They all look like they've been over fed and burnt.........just my opinion.

I see what UR seeing….but I think it may be more of a strain trait. From my understanding, the majority of what’s being grown by the general population are hybrids that take on that typical indica appearance. Golden Tiger is a true sativa with traits that make it appear exaggerated, while in fact, it’s just an original sativa that looks the way a sativa is supposed to.
I could be wrong….

Fed them twice in the 120 days i had this plant alive. mild organic compost tea was all she got. Soil was a 50/50 mix of pro mix and ocean forest. she's super light feeder and very challenging to grow.

I could never get my fan leaves to stay alive for more than the 9-10w of flowering before they looked burnt/dead. She really doesn’t need much like mentioned in feeding and she just gets fatter and fatter. She’s light and airy, but my 2nd grow has a bit more firmness to her but still light. The only thing I don’t like is trimming by hand, because my TrimPro would just squish them trying to trim.

You use the term unsmokable, just to clarify do you mean it was harsh?

Nailed it.
Yup it really is just the genetics. I finished a couple of rucu cucu OG in the same cycle after 9 weeks and they were perfect right up until the end under similar conditions. Another thing is the plant on the left in my tent is actually pretty dense, I should get another couple of images which illustrate that better. Looking back at the pictures I posted it's hard to see it for how it really is.

I was told GT is difficult to grow with good success, so I did my research. Found a lot of growers ran into that problem and I decided to keep the nutrients on the low side until late flowering in order to keep the leaf area index as high as possible. Part of my strategy to make this work was to use larger volumes of growing media with organic amendments so that at the very least there will be some slow release of nutrients readily available earlier on.

Totally respect your opinion but hardcore sativa's just aren't very pretty. The smoke will floor even the most seasoned of heads.

The high was not enjoyable and it was peppery and spicy in a bad way

I have a ridiculously high tolerance at times and feel I can really handle things that are quite intense. Do you think it was just the intensity that made it unpleasant or is it more generally the characteristics of the high straight after drying?

The high was sharp, racey, intense paranoia, dizzying, and heart pounding. After a good long cure it is how ace describes it and is excellent smoke.

I cut a lower off a week ago to test it, it's about dry now but I think tomorrow (Saturday) Il have a spin on it and see how I handle it. This is clearly not your morning before work weed.
