I am a big fan of Dr. Earth! You can see all the various ingredients in it as it is not all combined into a pellet form, and it contains: Fishbone Meal, Bone Meal, Feather Meal, Alfalfa Meal, Potassium Sulfate, Fish Meal, Kelp Meal, Rock Phosphate, and Kelp Flour. This is a simple way to get started into a organic super soil. It is just like someone took Down to Earth boxes of each ingredient and blended it into one bag. 4-6-3 and 7.5% Ca, and Mycorrhizae. The Rev has a great book called "True Living Organics" and for anyone new just add dirt, compost, and this stuff but try and let it sit for at least a month or longer as you need that time for the living microbes to start that cycle of plant available nutes. But if you dont have the time to wait then supplement with a liquid OMRI fertilizer.

Yesterday I cleaned out the garage and in doing so I put a few things out for free including a complete starter kit of a high end salt based nutrient line all new and still sealed. Dr. Earth along with a few other organic additions is all I'll ever grow with ever again.
That's real! Someone will make great use of it hopefully. With time being limited, I needed something I could put some water on. Boom! Dr Earth!

I have no problem with people who like to grow with salts, it's just not for me. Using Dr. Earth and other organic nutrients allows me to dump all my runoff into my outdoor garden and I never have to flush my plants because of salt buildup and the bud I've grown is just fine with me.

Going forward with DE exclusively. It's been a mixed bag for awhile running some with DE and some with GH Flora. Great results with both but I've grown weary with the whole mixing scene. Dropped 2 beans this morning. An Acapulco Gold and a Mendo Breath Fruit Bowl in solos. Headed out this morning for some new mix (hopefully can find Tuper Gold) to amend with DE and bake a few weeks for up-potting. As the current girls come down, the bottles nutes will become just someone I used to know.

Do you recycle your soil?

I have for the last few cycles. Kind of a pain but has worked well. Not keen on throwing money away. Starting fresh with this run though.
I would like to, need to figure out a process. Was thinking every other cycle to rest it and give me time to process and mend.

I agree with everything except the month you say it takes for it to kick in...im saying 2 weeks at the most. If you use any kind of microbial inoculant, ie: recharge, great white, or just good old fashion compost or ewc...its available after about 7-10 days. If it took a month whats the use of topdressing by week 4 on a 8 week strain. I topdress every 3-4 weeks. And i am indoors too, maybe its different for outdoors. Nice garden bro.
