I remember when I was a kid on long Island in the 80's. They were so loud. I heard there's going to be some giant hatching this year. Dormant for 30 years or some shit. That explains why they sounded louder when I was a kid. Guess I'm not going nuts

here's a map of the different broods. we had the big 17-year one in 2021, so we won't be due for another big one until 2038. we do have cicadas every summer, call them "june bugs" and they are annoying but the sound is very nostalgic for me. the big broods are deafening, though. sounds like downed electric lines.

I believe that it is passed us now but could pop off again but I doubt it getting to cold now about 20 miles west is already in the 30's thanks anyways appreciate

I have an old hottub that I've been saving just for that type of project.

I listened about squishing bubble but you're on your own with that!

It likes shade. I grow cilantro, lavender, mint, and rosemary along the shade of my pool wall. Always does well, my guinea pig chomps on it all summer long.

I'm planning to put some and some mint in my front yard by my swamp cooler in the shade from my daisies and TX Sage

ol' girl gets bed privileges tonight. she's literally the sweetest. i think geriatric dogs are by far my favorite. this is my second dog who's lived into the golden years and i just love them so much at this age.
