It is literally raining rescue birds. This one makes bird #3 currently in house. Today this doofus fell out of his nest. I can't really blame him as it was his parents who built the shoddy thing. So I mixed up some baby bird formula and I'm feeding him and treating the couple small flesh wounds I see. He's a mourning dove, not a pigeon.

Absolutely nothing interesting happening in my grow.

I got in and cleaned up all the underskirts from 18" down. Although it still looks like a jungle, it is much less so. I also moved my humidifier off the table LOL they wanted the room.

Here she is! She ended up with a right wing amputation but can hop like a pro. She will be remaining with me and currently shares a room (separate cage obviously) from Lady Bird a rescued Moluccan.


Here's the rough looking baby raven from the spring. The one with the severe case of Avian Pox. As you can see he's almost completely healed. The last pox are on his legs and will need to resolve before I could release him. I'm putting up a winter wind break and will add a roof over the back today or tomorrow so although he's not enclosed he will have good rain and wind coverage for the bad weather that's approaching.

Leucy will join him out there sometime in the spring as she puts on weight and adds some resilience. An amputation is a huge thing for a wild bird and she's still in a bit of negative nitrogen balance so I don't want to add weather stress to her healing. Plus if the baby is able to be released there is some question about his mentation that will be better resolved in the spring.

Thank you, do you like orchids? This is a Brc Chomthong Fancy Bangkok a cattleya orchid on her first bloom since coming to me. There are three flowers all bunched up.

This is @BobBitchen 's Chicken Dinner. I couldn't get the pic with the frost showing but all the nugs have that white frosting you can just see glints of in my pic above. They look like frosted flakes! My pictures don't do it justice. The smell is amazing and after cure the taste is pure creamsicle yummy. Looking forward to the community grow of his genetics in '24.

First day of week #3 in flower. Here's everyone.


Here's the underskirts of my Acai Jelly and so far we are clean. I'm watching them closely and will bring up my other tent(s) shortly. If necessary I'll isolate them.


These are Sherbinski's Pink Sunset and they are lovely. My runt seedling caught up with her big sister and they are happily chugging along.


These are all my clones from the tops (I usually use skirt cuttings from 2 weeks in but seeing her propensity for stretch I took tops to break apical dominance and encourage lateral growth). They would like bigger pots and a new tent


My Polar Gelato #1 was fighting cloning, sigh. That's the first cutting in the row behind. These are from 2 weeks in flower and they shot roots relatively quickly as the weather went cold. This usually translates into resistance for reversing so if I choose to reverse the Polar Gelato I'm going to have to be patient it appears (patience is not my strong suit).


Bringing up the rear is Cannarado's White Papaya. I loved the last room of them and I'm going for a seed run. I'd like to reverse them to find a real keeper as I love the quality of the smoke.

Now if my new tent stuff would just GET HERE!! LOL the new Scorpion Diablo X arrives Thursday but all the attendant crap you need to buy and do like emptying the fucking lung room, means I need to get my ass in gear.

So I couldn't figure out why a few of my plants were looking like this! I was just rolling my eyes and thinking shitty genetics. Then I realized it was a survey table and this was occurring across strains but not with all phenos. So I took a picture and complained to @Laughing Grass about the weird/crappy genetics and how I was concerned it was their reaction to UV.

She pointed out they were revegging and I thought, not possible it's the light. Right until I went upstairs, looked at the timer and realized that the plants can see those damn disco lights While it wasn't enough to force them to fully reveg it was enough to stop them from finishing flower!

Thanks to @Laughing Grass 's eye they will now finish and I have an unintentional Monster Crop

It's possible I smoke too much pot.........
