You'reWhy a new thread? What is you're light schedule? In your other thread you said they were autoflowers. They're not autoflowering so if you don't have them on 12/12 they are not going to start flowering like they should.
Supercrop or bend them over and tie them down. Switch to 12/12. Just letting them grow into the light makes no sense. You have to make a decision. Standing back biting your fingernails while not doing anything isn't going to get what you need done. It's time for action not panic.
Good luck.
That was 9 months ago...You need to go out in garage and get a hedge trimmer for those!. Or find a place out side and set them free. Seriously didn’t you see that coming? Your going to have real problems being they Havnt even went through stretch yet.. other than super cropping and a hair cut. Good thing it’s a weed it will grow back. A long time ago growing outside we would bend them over and stake them like you would scrog indoor. Some would get up to 15ft long. That’s an option if you can get them outside without next door seeing them if posable. I would suggest looking up scrog and mainline method and apply that on your next run that way you will have full controll over your grow. Just a tip but maybe only grow one. 2 max plants in your tent that way. You Will have a better yield. Take some clones in case this grow don’t work out for you that way you have a backup plan! Good luck. Ps when you do super crop have some tape handy because some will break and you need to tape around them so they heal. Could use a bit of super thrive to help them along but just once at this stage.
I’m going to keep a eye on your grow so please post pics. Everyone is here to help so don’t get discouraged.
Those plants are currently 25 feet tall. That was 9 months ago...
When I see that they are going to grow to the ceiling, I start the process of bending them. You gotta do it gently , increasing your load on the plant. I start out with a very light washer attached with a small S hook. The top stem will be new growth , green and not very strong. So start out with a very light washer that won't break the stem. I end up, at the end with very heavy loads ( like big Cresent wreches )which keep the mature branch down and growing vertical . This vertical stem will give rise to a bunch of branches growing straight up to the lights and form nice colas. Go real light at first ! I've put two light washers on to start bending one time....seemed okay......it held. I came back later and it had snapped stem.Ok, they are to the light and higher!! Do I need to cut them some??? Duck tape, not kidding either, I’ve snapped more than my fair share of stems trying to bend or supercrop, it’ll heal up pretty quicklyWhen I see that they are going to grow to the ceiling, I start the process of bending them. I start out very, very slow . When I see that it's gonna too tall , I start out witha very light washer on a S hook . The top of the plant has very new growth that won't handle much weight . I slowly add weight ( bigger washers ) . In the end I'm usingDuck tape, not kidding either, I’ve snapped more than my fair share of stems trying to bend or supercrop, it’ll heal up pretty quickly
He's right duct tape works wonders for patching it up and this is a lesson every grower must learn at somepoint when you let plants out grow lights let it teach you to control height better in future ive literally only let this happen once mind you i can finish stuff at 6 feet tall worst case if i need to my first grow ever i let plants get outta control and they were 7+ foot monsters trying to hide those buggers from a house inspection outside in a van when that was going on was hilarious definitely lesson learned the hard way im lucky i didnt end up in jail lolDuck tape, not kidding either, I’ve snapped more than my fair share of stems trying to bend or supercrop, it’ll heal up pretty quickly
Sounds like a good rush. Hers a good example of out of hand. Being gone over a couple weeks in hydro don’t mix. Plus strain was all over the place. That was a job to get back in order but turned out. What a mess! He's right duct tape works wonders for patching it up and this is a lesson every grower must learn at somepoint when you let plants out grow lights let it teach you to control height better in future ive literally only let this happen once mind you i can finish stuff at 6 feet tall worst case if i need to my first grow ever i let plants get outta control and they were 7+ foot monsters trying to hide those buggers from a house inspection outside in a van when that was going on was hilarious definitely lesson learned the hard way im lucky i didnt end up in jail lol
