I am a fairly new grower and have been growing two plants outside all summer . I think one may have suffered bud rot but I'm not 100% sure that all the buds are affected or that the second plant is affected either . The First one is a Biscotti strain the second Amnesia Haze .
I cut the the Biscotti plant today but i want to know if any can be salvaged . Please see the photo's . The last photo is of the Haze . Does this plant look ok ?

Thanks in advance for your help !

Are you sure? You are using the attach files button? What happens? You should see a progress bar, then a thumbnail below the reply boxScreenshot_20231010_073317_Edge.jpg

If there is a line through it something is wrong with the file. Please upload a jpg not a pdf

Yes. That does look like bud rot. Break it in half, the brown withering should extend into the center. Sorry

Break the stem in half you mean ? How do these photo's of the haze look ? I'm hoping this one is still ok . I didn't cut them yet .

I meant to break the actual bud in half to examine the interior.

There is some browning on the haze that could be rot or ripening. If you pull gently on the brown leaves in this detail and they pull out of the center of the bud easily or seem decomposed or have white filaments that also may indicate bud rot.Screenshot_20231010_080509_Edge.jpg

The first picture is of the biscotti which I pulled in half the second is the haze , yes the filament came out fairly easily and this is the picture . Bear in mind though that we are a week away from harvest does that make a difference . I can't believe I've been nurturing them for 6 months to end like this :(

I would NOT spray anything right before harvest.

H2O2 makes me nervous for the rinse after harvest. On paper it seems fine but I like to just rinse off the outdoor dust or whatever is on the plants before bring them inside for drying. I'd love to hear your experiences though, possibly give it a try.

Is use 10 quarts water, 1 quart 3% h202 whenever i wash bevause it will kill any spores on the plant.
plain water wont.
