HSC Blueberry Cupcake clones out of control

So, I took clones of my HSC Blueberry Cupcake plant quite some time ago. They rooted and I put them in coco on blumats, feeding maxibloom with calmag in RO water. Fast forward a couple months and they are pushing 6' tall and they are out of control. They have grown up and above my bar light. I am going to cut them way back so I can flip them in the next week or 2. My question is should I just pick a height and cut straight across and then give them a week or 2 to heal up and then flip them? Or is there a better strategery to cutting them way back?
I'm not sure that I'll keep all 5. I may gift a plant or 2 to a buddy just for the sake of having enough room.

They look quite stressed right now. I wouldn't think about flowering them until they're in good health. Whether you cut them way way back, or take clones and start fresh, is up to you.

Edit: those pots have got to be crammed with roots, too. I'd also consider breaking up the root balls and re-potting when you cut them back...

They got stressed a couple weeks back when I ran the reservoir dry. That's where the yellow came from. That and the stuff that is above the lights is acting all weird because it isn't getting good light. So, when I cut it all back, I have no fear that they will bounce back quite nicely. As far as the pots are concerned, I will probably bump them up a size, but im not terribly worried about it with the coco and blumats system. They seem to thrive quite well even in the small pots. Maybe I'll upsize 2 and keep 2 in the smaller pots and compare them?

Pulled everything out of the tent today, cut all 5 clones down in about half. I took them out of the half gallon pots and moved them into some 9x9 pots that I believe are 2 gallons. The root systems were pretty full and super healthy and solid. I had one leftover that is now an outdoor plant. I also thinned out the Toxic Kool-Aid plant from HBS. Got everything back in the tent and the blumats dialed back in. I also switched food from Maxibloom to maxigrow to try and give them a little more nitrogen.

Hopefully the peppers are out of the tent by next weekend or the following week and I'm gonna toss that bushy plant in the 3x3 as soon as the mother of the clones is done. Then I'm just gonna let the clones do their thing and fill the 4x4 tent up.

I didnt trim the roots or bust em up at all when I put them in the new containers. However, in 1 week to the day, roots were peaking out of the bottom of one of the containers and there is a bit of new growth on the tops of the plants. I think I will give them a couple more days and I will be flipping them to 12/12.

You could have tossed the tall plants, scrogged the smaller plant and had a full tent. If I were to keep the tallers one, I would have chopped off the upper half like you did. They were too tall to supercrop.

These ladies are just too much. I took some advice and took clones from them and will be tossing or giving these to a buddy. Buuuttttt wait, there's more!!!!! Since they are headed to a nice big farm or to the firepit, I figured I'd manhandle the shit out of one and shoehorn it into the 3x3 and force the net down on top of it. Because I cut it in half before and they have gotten pretty beefy, I could only get the net down so far. I'm just gonna give her a couple days to adjust and then I'll flip her to 12/12 and clean up the ol' undercarriage. She will continue on the maxi grow for the next 2 weeks or so and then I'll switch her over to the maxibloom.

Sidenote: Hey @Spiderfarmerled did the name of the G300W switch to the G3000 300W? Just curious because I won the G300W on here and now all I see is the G3000 300W and they appear to be the same.

Well, she didn't seem to be too terribly bothered by the manhandlin!! She is mostly perked up this morning and looking good. I'll see how she does and probably flip her tomorrow or Friday.

Yeah. My brother is a big fan. His 2nd hit, he looked at me and asked how much I had on hand. Hahaha
My roommates ex wife asked the same thing when she saw mineIMG_9223.jpeg I actually like their purple panty dropper a bit better on taste(grew a couple of those this last run too) both had pretty similar flower times and plant structures which makes sense given bbc I has ppd in it.
