Thrips

I have an infestation of thrips whilst 35 days into flower.
I've sprayed other plants that are in veg but am reluctant to spray anything onto my crop whilst buds are developing.
Do I try and spray leaves individually with a small bottle or just ride it out and treat the room once its cut down?

If your running led you can jack the humidity to close to one 100 percent if the light is sealed and rated for it and rise the temp to 31 do this phases this will kill all nymphs will die. Pm won't be an issue at 31 either. It will just be very wet. No chemicals needed.

So what should he do about the eggs and adults?

Keep cycling it too the adults will die off too just not 100 percent that's why you do it twice a week you could do it more if you heat at lights off too to 31. you could that temp even at lights off. They will die off in high heat in humidity. When the egg hatch they will suffocate

Blue traps for adults
DE for soil and or Spinosad or
Purecrop1 root drench for the larvae.

Given the stage of flower there isn’t too many things you’d wanted to do without risking tainting buds. If your diligent you can keep it in check and make it to a decent harvest

3-10 days will completely eradicate it if you can hold it consistently if you can remove the plants stake them good hose em down, somewhere you can drain water spray the foilage and everything down stem ect then clean tent and put back in but you don't really need to clean the tent because the humidity will wipe them with the high heat keep it at least 31 though while you got the humidity high though you can go higher on the temp too but not much

What type of medium are you using?
I’ve tried a few different brands of soil and lately have had thrips but get rid of the issue quickly. Big Rootz and roots organic I use and noticed thrips a few times.

I don't ever spray anything on my buds but water ever, if changing the environment can't cure the infestation it gets chopped. I have never had to waste a crop due to an infestation, and short brief environment change cycle was enough to slow or halt the infestation. And best part it's free.
