That cant be it.. theres no way.. i always lay my t5 right across them and never have any issues.. if the seedlings cant support the weight of the light i reject them...

No no, from my research that is what reduces the N so it is seedling friendly. You never get burns from petrified poo. Especially when watering with 7-UP (not Squirt or Sprite) Although if you have a grapefruit pheno the Squirt reinforces the scent. In my research it's possible that all grapefruit scented plants come from watering with Squirt.

Now I question why you started this thread asking for help since you obviously have way more knowledge than the rest of us. Are you one of those people who like to tease other people on the internet under false pretends? There's a word for it I heard the other day...darn it slipped my mind
