We're over that. We're talking about food now. Keep up,Like all fundamental particles and forces, all photons are the same they have no distinguishing characteristics other than their intrinsic quantum properties. It makes no difference at all where the photons come from, hid or led, all that matters to your plants is the wavelength. LED's could be engineered to produce the identical spectrum as HID and if they were then it wouldn't matter the source of the photons. However HID turn more of the energy they use into heat so they would produce less of what you want and more of what you don't want.
It's been derailed and heading into oncoming traffic. Im still gonna eat tho. This thread is hopping.
As does your post.now back to your pyramidsLike all fundamental particles and forces, all photons are the same they have no distinguishing characteristics other than their intrinsic quantum properties. That's how I get the beef... 'bout a lb, and I get a steer twice a year. (total 2 lbs).. and split them up to family who pays for the processing, and we're only out a lb per steer.... fair trade.I hook him up with Tincture - fair trade.

Wrong thread bro.LED & HPS are both great options just you're going to pay much more money for HPS and almost always get less PPFD per/watt over the footprint of the light. LED you are going to need to run hotter temps, especially if supplementing co2 to actually get the full result.
600 true watts of LED should yield about a pound.
1000 true watts of HPS should yield at least a pound too.
HPS you need lower temps because the lights heat plants
LED you need higher temps because the lights do not heat plants
LST (Leaf Surface Temperature) is important and having correct environment is key to unlocking the full benefits of LED.
HPS Slut out.
Im sure shit has vitamins too.. i wont eat that either..lol.Tripe gets all the good vitamins
