LOL I'm sure the reason they are losing electoral votes, moving to Mexico City, buying political ads in Florida and literally begging the film industry to come back are good signs the opposite is true.
I thought you lived in Alberta. You can make pretty good money working at Tim Horton’s in Alberta. Why are you here acting like an asshole for a few rubles?

Trump was an asshole and a horrible president, but that doesn't make Biden a good one.
nope, him passing the pact act, the inflation reduction act, fixing trump's totally fucked up covid response, presiding over the best year for job growth and unemployment EVER, bring down gas prices and inflation that were at least half trump's fault, passing the chips act,
passing the infrastructure act, and just generally being a better human being than any republican make him a good president...maybe a great one, history will decide.

Are you serious? China having military exercises and weapons tests during an American dignitaries visit to Taiwan? Yeah, China seems like they're shivering in their boots.

Russia making energy deals with India, North Korea, and China, not to mention, bringing the EU and the UK to its knees when it comes to energy. Wow, a 212% raise in energy with planned 5 day blackouts in the UK. Looks like winning to me. Bidentopia!!!

The American narrative is crumbling. I'm not happy about it, but here we are living in reality. I'm just a casual observer not a supporter. There is a shift in power going on in the world today. Maybe it's just an attempt, but it's an attempt none the less.

Who cares? Ignore me and move on.
So it's just random?

I thought there might be some kind of connection. OK, so this thread has gone off track before and the jackass trolling for Trump is boring, so I'll go with your effort to step on this thread. As long as we agree that Trump is in for the fight of his life to avoid jail time for being caught red handed with secret documents he ought not have had then I'll go with your rather dense placement of your posts.

In any case, Russia's economy will shrink 6% this year and more the next as sanctions bite. For the West, their objective has always been to end Russia's ability to invade its neighbors, which is probably already achieved for the short term. Assisting Ukraine is justified by the treaty the US, UK, Russia and Ukraine signed that guaranteed respecting Ukraine's borders. When Russia broke that treaty, US, UK and all of NATO were obligated to come to Ukraine's defense. Which we did by shipping a bear spanking amount of armaments and aid. Sanctions are the cherry on top that prevent Putin from replacing the modern weapons he's losing every day. So, goodbye Russia from the world's stage. China's economy is in dire straits, what with the CCP's inability to admit their dumbass Zero Covid policy, coupled with a vaccine with a poor protective value and a raft of economic, social and diplomatic missteps has set them back a generation. Did I mention that they have a real problem with their shrinking population causing yet further economic decline? Chinese businesses don't have the same access to Western tech, so the can no longer steal it. So, goodbye China from the world's stage. Hello South Asia, Africa and South America. That's where the next great nations will come from.

We aren't the world power we used to be and that's not a bad thing. The US was mistaken when it got mired in Afghanistan and invaded Iraq. It was a disaster for us. Then Biden got elected and took the hard, necessary and controversial step of getting the US out Afghanistan. It was the kind of hard choice a good leader makes regardless of the criticism he faced for doing so. The nation's leaders are staggering away from dumbass neoliberal ideas such as cooperating and trading with your enemies will make them your friends. It's about time.

Today the US is experiencing growth, not recession, employment is up. inflation seems to have been brought under control. I don't know about you, but claims of the demise of the US seem exaggerated to me.

What percentage of our population don't even vote or give a crap about what you're saying while they are too busy getting your food on your table while watching their savings disappear running faster and faster on the hamsters wheel to get the same little piece of cheese? Those of us paying attention are squarely in the minority and that minority is split right down the middle. Wyoming sheds some light here when you look at their production per capita. Folks are packing up and leaving your blue cities and states in droves, you think thats simply a ploy to flip red to purple maybe but they are simply fed up. Florida is literally replacing California as the epicenter of culture in real time.

wow, scrabble harder, little dog, you're about to slide away....florida is replacing California as what? the most redneck state in the country? it may be the center of the republican universe, but who gives a fuck? republicans can't quit shooting themselves in the foot long enough to recover...they're fucked, the only way they can survive as a party with any influence is to shit can the radical right, hard, and deny them a voice in anything. they don't have enough of a voter base to carry anything they haven't gerrymandered the fuck out of. when the democrats have a useful majority, they'll fucking steamroller the republicans, pass voter protection laws nationally that just gut the republican plan to bring back jim crow, and they'll be screwed, until they reform their party...
