Depending on the amount of soil for the plant to grow in you will most likely need to amend the soil with some fresh compost etc as it will be at least partly used up from last year's growth.should i grow my plant in the same hole i digged last year?

I grow spring crop plants in most of my holes, so they don't get a long rest. I do start later in the spring with my so called full season plants.
