To the right of the picture are two 'Three A Light' books, one for me and one for me to donate to a forum member who shows interest in growing with 'Three A Light' techniques. They're sold 2000 of these books at $500, there's a wealth of information inside.

Love the light, I'm wondering though, the spectral distribution in the center? What's with the lack of diode down the middle?

I'm in the market for some new lights. It seems alot if people like them and they do produce hearty harvests.

I have 4 plants under 1 HLG 650R and average over 3 lbs per harvest, last was well over 4 lbs. The light is on a light rail, plants are in a 3’x8’ scrog, coco and perlite, jacks 321, nothing new or special. Not sure if your trying to get 3 lbs per plant or light. If per light, easily done if you have the right light and setup.
"Well over 4 lbs." This i GOTTA see. You able to show us what 4# under 1 650r looks like. Over 3 g/w is some god level type stuff. Good for you

That's impressive. But let's say in a 5x5 tent, keeping the 18" distance (3x3 high ppfd), do the 2 feet of the perimeter get leggy growth on the flip. It seems you almost have to employ some form of training to control stretch.

You definitely have me interested!! I'm still at awe on how the chart reads so high in the middle when there's nothing there on the light itself. I'll be following for sure!

We just finished a harvest yesterday. 87 plants. Not my proudest grow due to some shitty genetics (new strains), but our 3 year cloned pheno of Dosi is always a heavy producer. Im going to try an experiment on the next run, and just run 30 proven genetics under 18 HLG 550 V2's, CO2, sealed up. Do a long veg (like 3 months), train the shit out of them, and see if I can pull a lb per plant. Dosi has done 392g per in the past, So I think with a 9ft ceiling, 3, 4x20 ft roller benches, I maybe can pull this off? This would be 1.6 plants per light. Think it can be done? I got plenty of real estate in this 20x30 room. Im trying to do less feeding, and more training ... Im getting lazy.

Here’s a few pics of my current grow about 6 weeks into flower in the same setup. I have added about 40 watts of side lighting this run. Will be three to four pounds easy if nothing goes wrong.

Here’s a few bud pics, the strains are Laughing Buddha, Black Domina, Super Silver Haze and Green Crack.

The best I've grown is 850 grams (1.87 pounds) in one grow. I've been reading up on a book called 'Three A Light" and some of the techniques they use.

I'm so impressed that I ordered their Success Nutrients (complete package), and they've sent me an extra free book to give away during the thread I'll run.

Anyone have experience with 'Three A Light'? Success Nutrients?

.

I'll be starting the thread as soon as my gear gets here, I'm looking forward to this next grow.

Lockedin I`ve got to go through the Three A Light book and get a list of all the supplies I need, I expect to germinate next weekend. I`ll be keeping track of the grow in this thread.

Do you want to sign up for the ``Three A Light`` book contest? I`m going to gather the names of the people who want to grow TAL then pick their names out of a hat for the winner.

I would greatly appreciate having my name in said hat, Hobbes.

Everyone knows you can't get big yields without lots of bottles.
Hey there. Well we have so many bottles because we have a 9 part system. Actually most nutrient companies have 9+ parts, they just aren't transparent about them. We try to be completely transparent when it comes to our feeding schedule. This is why we chart out the grow by day and not by week. The idea is to follow our feeding chart, use the three a light method, and you will up your game.

I'm getting over 3 lbs. per Gavita LED, no problem in a 4 X 4 sq. ft. area......... and I can assure you it has nothing to do with the fertilizer and additives. I use Botanicare Pure Blend Pro veg/bloom and Cal/Mag, and NOTHING else. More is NOT better in marijuana growing.

And you definitely seem like an experienced grower. Not everyone is. Botanicare is a good line for sure. Our formulations are designed to be followed daily. We take all the guess work out of the grow with simple and easy to follow feed charts built out with daily steps. If you have tried our line and method and disagree, then no worries. We definitely aren't here to bash anyone's grow. We wish you continued success with your chosen program. Nice pic!
