Just curious… but what in that photo pointed you to a phosphorus deficiency? I just thought she looked thirsty. LolView attachment 5102303View attachment 5102305View attachment 5102306
Was getting this late day wilt that turned out to be a phosporous deficiency, fed them some Big Bloom to boost it. Trimmed the bottom of the fim and started 2 clones because i hate tossing cuttings, hope its female. Fimmed one, topped one and left the shortest one alone. Added another 100 watts to widen the lighting.
Lol, purple stems, slight clawing, that dark green color and the wilt was not due to watering. Plus it got better with a splash of 0.0 0.5 0.7.Just curious… but what in that photo pointed you to a phosphorus deficiency? I just thought she looked thirsty. Lol
Nice little article and your deductive reasoning during your troubleshooting impressive.Lol, purple stems, slight clawing, that dark green color and the wilt was not due to watering. Plus it got better with a splash of 0.0 0.5 0.7.
Edit: to go a little deeper, i eliminated a watering problem since the wilt went away each morning so that left lights or nutes. Never used led’s before, usually flourescents for veg or metal halide way back when. So i kept the lights turned downand still got late afternoon wilt. Immediate thought was nitrogen from the early yellowing which is gone now from a foliar feed with Growbig 6-4-4. Did a google search and came on this

Phosphorus deficiency is one of the most common problems experienced and amateur growers may face. Purple leaves and stems should raise a red flag. Learn how to identify the symptoms and cure your canseedsupreme.com
Rounding out nicely!View attachment 5106319ToppedView attachment 5106320fimmedView attachment 5106321naturalView attachment 5106322Thinking the fim will need a semi schwazze when flipped.
Thanks, gave them a two quart feeding of grow big and big bloom two days ago, 1200 ppm but what surprised me was the tap water was close to 8, the nutes in particular the grow big dropped the pH to 6.5.Rounding out nicely!
Hmmm.. decision, decisions lol They sure do look healthy with a nice internode structure! If your just watch’n anyway, with no time restrictions… I’d keep training and let them go a bit longer and get that defoliation in you were talking about myself. I can’t really tell what height your girls have right now, but I generally like to flip 22”-24” from soil given my tent restrictions. My own girls got flipped on March 15th so they’d hopefully finish by June 1st, most were a couple inches short of those standards but thats why they call them restrictions lol My 2-week stretch currently has the tallest cola of the bunch @ 34” from soil… up, up and away! Can’t decide to flip or do a heavy defoliation?View attachment 5109882View attachment 5109883started some lst with wire on the lower branches that probably should be cut.
@Kerowacked… Now those look like some real sweet healthy ladies! Congratulations on the clones too. I’m not a clone guy to date so I can appreciate when someone else gets it! Lol Are you going to flower indoors too or put them outdoors for continued growth? I can’t help you on the LED question, to date I’ve been an HID bigot, but this is my last indoor using only HID. I’m becoming a convert via National Grid Kw rates. Btw… I’d rather think of my own indoor grow at that previous 2 week mark as comically “organized chaos“ instead of jungle. Lol Completed their 21st day defoliation, fed and looking pretty good today at 23 days… Not as tall as I’d normally like, but again June 1st is a restrictive hard target date.@Poco56 you got the jungle going for sure. I defoliated some, the phosphorous deficiency is gone, looks like both clones made it, life is good in MassachusettsView attachment 5114677View attachment 5114678View attachment 5114679
The led’s are still a problem. I started another thread because one doesn’t shut off completely. Got other lights but i’d like to know where the trickle of power is coming from.
Dialing in a… what I would consider a dream room like yours with those (2) sweet HLG Scorpion Diablo lights can definitely be an overwhelming challenge till you can dial in a grow or two (1300 true watts collectively b4 supporting air flow considerations.) Let’s face it, your lights are top of the line lighting, but let’s not forget those girls look rock solid right now too imo. Maybe just dim those sweet lights down a tad to finish veg or think about your shutting down (1/2) lights and take what you can wattage wise across the finish line… just think‘n out loud. Good luck my man, however it works out for you.Just flipped mine but unfortunately I may have to scrap this run . I found the load limit of my room and not satisfied. Have an electrician coming in so I may be back to square one. Going to get the outdoor starts going incase i wrap it sooner than later. No problems to this point power wise but not sure i want to see them through at half power. I had my lights turned up without issues when i set room up,but apparently my test wasnt long enough or atleast I didn’t have enough stuff kicking on at once to see true capacity. Oh well stuff happens we’ll see
