Nope but there are alot of poly hybrid strains out there these days that will herm, flower or trip out if you sneeze on them.

Purple Haze genetics ,they grow near the equator right? They are used to temp/light in the Columbia Area.

Ime some strains will go into flower sooner than others just depends on the strain....some will flower at 14 hrs some at 16 and some at 12/12 it just depends... experiment that's how I've come to this conclusion

in veg you can give whatever light regiment you want to give, they'll grow just fine 4/4, 12/5/1/6, 24/0, 20/0, 18/6... even longer than 24h is possible... or irregular ones. they will adapt

Hmm, but don't cannabis plants need down time for cells? Like we do they need rest?
I've seen people growing at 24/7 , especially on autos but I'd feel weird with that.


I can't have my lights on 24/7 in here l lol...

I'm in MI and get that in really early spring. Equator would 13 hours in winter. Reread your sight or post it from a solar chart.

The plant starts to flower as soon as it realizes the days are getting shorter...12/12 is just the easiest way to initiate that..but like I said some will flower at flower at different times but all strains will flower when you flip to 12/12 so it's just become a common practice we all flip to 12/12

If you ever get bored and want to experiment and your growing multiple strains do a gradual change into flower shave 1 hr off every 2 weeks or so and you SHOULD see some flower at different times....atleast I did


I did a gradual change to save on electric but I won't ever do that again because I had different strains flower at different times lol didn't really like it but I guess it doesn't matter in the end anyway

But like @MICHI-CAN said he's been growing for 40 years and not seen it so I guess it all depends

Ive had some strains flower using 16/8

And now that I think about it they started flowering at 14 hrs I Kno that for a fact because I have it logged in my journal but it could of been 16

24/7 is best growth for seedlings but keep ppfd accordingly low
but it doesnt matter much with photoperiodics its your call when you flower them
how much u harvest is genetics + light/area + your expertise
tbh you don't have much room I'd put 12/12fs so they flower ASAP
which is between 4-6 weeks
b4 that photos are not mature and will just veg
if they flower too soon, u can easily reveg them and cash in on boost
I heard some strains dont like that but such a genetic just throw it into the trashcan
maybe look up what the breeder says about how much they stretch, young plants stretch usually excessively

I smoked skittlz, it was good.

But not the best.

So far my favorite strain of all time I think was Ambrosia... But I tried smoking it again and didn't like it the second time.

I'm starting to make a list of my favorite strains that work best for me, but it's constantly changing.

Praying that Purple Haze will be good.

I've never smoked it.

They don't have it here in San Francisco to buy.

yeah its true it's about if the "Pfr horomone" reaches a critical threshold
plus, cannabis seeds dont need a period of winter cold but during veg a phase of, at least, medium temps to cause "vernalization"
