New to roll it up.

new to this forum but I consider myself a somewhat experienced grower. Been growing outdoors for 10 years and indoors on and off for the last 5 years. Starting up another run but everything new to me. I will be using a 5x5 grow tent with led lighting and have auto flower fem seeds. I have gotten my hands on 10 emerald fire og and 10 Chunkadelic seeds from Humboldt seed company and also some og mix pack from ILGM seed bank. I have never grown in a tent or with led and never messed with auto flowers. With that being said I would appreciate any input you may have. On the the tent the strains the leds any tips at all. I will be keeping a blog and uploading pictures of my adventure weekly. Thanks in advance.

If you're experienced you should do okay with autos. Personally I only grow freebie autos outdoors in summer.

My biggest concern is how many should I put in a 5x5? I’ve tried doing research on average size for the autos but I got 18 inch all the way to 4 foot.

Do not be afraid to feed them. You'll know if you went too far. Had a White Hulk auto last year that hit almost 6'. Huge ass top cola. And then bud rot. But she was a beast for an auto. Fed it just I fed everything else.

4. Feed them and watch.

Also going with advanced nutrients grow micgro and bloom along with sensi cal mag extra, big bud and bud candy.

Definitely start at 1/4. But don't be afraid to keep increasing it.

Just so you know, you cannot clone AutoFlower (Ruderalis) plants right? Plan to have huge phenotype variations between seeds and never have the same plant or measurable results. If it's not measured it's not managed.

4 in a 5x5 would be ideal you'll get maximum light intensity spread right across the canopy.

I run them 1 per 5x5' space right now. I have 2 x 5'x20' rows each with 4 lights overhead. I'm averaging 20 ounces a plant and I'm pulling down 6 plants per/row every 2 weeks then another 6 go out. Doing quite well at this point with everything dialed in.

Ditto, I have 5 Northern Lights Autos to go out in the summer. I am leaving their care to the wife. They are going out in May, so by June we should have 5 dead Autos.

Yeah but when I can yield the same results with double the canopy I prefer that. 2,000w of double ended HPS per/5x5 is the definition of overkill not to mention extremely uneconomical.
