HLG makes a real nice light, you won't be disappointed. The only thing you may encounter is the need to run it dimmed down to start since you don't have a veg space. That may mean you need to add some heat to the space the next few months.First “real” nonblurp lights so this is either going to be real nice, or a whoooole new curve lol
Hmmm… then why (2) Scorpions? (1) should handle a 5x5 grow space pretty well. Given their base price, that’s a lot of light affecting the budget and by default, wattage being under utilized given an actual 5x5 ultimate grow space imo. Were you maybe considering a perpetual grow and splitting the room between veg and flower? And whats going to be your medium choice. I‘m strictly a soil guy to date but it’s usually my single biggest decision… I personally have learned to love living soil but usually requires minimally a 7-10 gallon pot to finish A-Z without the benefit of added nutes, but I find I’ve bounced around a bit from the convenient to the entertaining of mixing my own. (Takes time and patience to cure) I detest again using liquid salt based nutrients as I did in my early days of growing, so I’ve been experimenting with a select range of organic solutions. (Kind Soil, Natures Living Soil with FF Coco Loco)… but SoHum from a bag perspective has my attention also… just requires the bigger pot. Thanks it’s 10.5 x10.5 but I’m only going to grow half that
CheeeeeeeseI def want to run the cheese
Hey Bam, given the 1st run status, I’d go with the fem photos… They’re way more forgiving given the dynamics of your new, sweet top of the line but untested room and HLG practical usage. I like the Cheese and Blue Sunset Sherbert as my choices but this is all about your choices here. I just germinated (2) DNA Genetics “Holy Grail”, (2) Barney’s Farm “Mimosa x Orange Punch” and (2) “Fem Diesel” (free seeds, replacement germ… the Ethos (2) “White Wedding” I started with popped but never got above soil so reluctantly discarded)What do you guys want to see me wrestle with first.
strains on hand, all fem , should have at least 3 beans a strain.thinking of 8 -10 plants

… and just another observation, but 8-10 ladies in a 5x5 area with minimally 5 gallon pots will challenge that space in flower. If 5x5 is what your true restrictions are for that room... From my experience with training, It’ll be a jungle in there! What do you guys want to see me wrestle with first.

Sorry, didn’t grasp the elongated 5x10… I was thinking you’d be halving a 10x10 (5x5).No 10x5 is two 5x5 lol that's why two lights and 8-10 plants is 4-5 per 5x5 i usually do 3 or 4 in 4x4. So again 5x10ft or 50 sq ft
