I think a black person should be able to protect themselves and their property from unwanted visitors.

I don't have any "no blacks allowed" signs.

Of course you don't really care, since your sign would say, "no black people can have guns or use them for defensive purposes" . Okay maybe it wouldn't say all that, but you support the idea that black people have no right to use a gun to defend their property or themselves.

I tend to agree with you. It’s complex with things like property rights, open carry laws, self defense laws, etc. Once things like this hit the courts, intent and the series of events leading up to the event matter. I wonder what charges end up actually sticking.

Personally I think he was wrong to seek out that rifle, head downtown, and play call of duty. I feel like he should be punished. That doesn’t dismiss the responsibility of all parties involved though and each individual’s decisions throughout the night.

Its more complex than both sides. There are a lot of parties involved with no specific affiliation. I’m surprised you’re playing that card. Personal responsibility matters.

Shooting someone in the back is wrong.

If you read the testimony is says the last shot of 4 was in the back.

I just said he should be punished and is wrong for carrying a fucking long rifle around at 17 in the middle of the night like a literal call of duty video game fetish. He put himself in a situation he couldn’t handle.

The court doesn’t care about our feelings though

Rittenhouse shot him in the leg and he fell forward is how he got shot in the back. There was a 5th shot not by Rittenhouse that hit him though. Grazed his head. They don't know where that came from.
