Anyone else watching the Kyle Rittenhouse trial?

Kenosha Police Department Detective Ben Antaramian, a prosecution witness, admitted under cross-examination Monday in Kenosha County Court that Kyle Rittenhouse only shot people who chased him….

The cross-examination continued:

“Dr Doug Kelley, a forensic pathologist with the Milwaukee county medical examiner’s office, said Rosenbaum was shot by someone within 4ft. Rosenbaum’s hand, he said, was “in close proximity or in contact with the end of that rifle”.

Kelley said Rosenbaum was shot four times: in the groin, hand and thigh as he faced Rittenhouse and then in the back.”

I was under the impression he shot him in the back only too, but as you mentioned after more scrutiny more context will be made known
Thanks for the update.

Just telling it how it is. The ones that shoot aren’t looking for trouble unless you go there with them. That’s 99% of people. I wouldn’t feel threatened by these folks because a lot of them probably are good ol boys that like fishing and the outdoors too. If they can legally own a gun they aren’t criminals.
You do realize that people of color are charged disproportionately for crimes and thus rendering many from legally owning firearms?...
Gun control was first created after the Black Panthers showed up with guns...

it started with the person who unlocked his gun..you could see he was a kid that wanted to play 'war'- this is not a game it was real life with real life consequences- he knew what he did..even as a minor child he knew what he did was wrong though.
You know what is the worrisome thing here? A large percentage of people think he’s a hero. Hmmm makes you wonder how it got to this…… MAGA!

A lot of those marches are theatrics and for show. They will get people they know and have them come out in numbers and give them a gun to hold. You sometimes see guns with missing bolt carriers or the sights on wrong. Some of them obviously know what they are doing but some of them not. There is a difference but it’s more to make an impression.
youre so fucking stupid

there's a reason why you have to test for a drivers license.
We have to sit through a couple of days of training, a practical and written exam, to get a licence to own a gun. Not allowed to carry a gun unless actually hunting and no handguns except at a range and a restricted weapon licence (hard to get). You guys should try it ;). Drivers licence? I wrote a test and week later had a 10 minute drive test. 2 days later at 16 I was driving around.

Yeah because I can see the truth. You have women carrying guns waaay to big for them and other dudes carrying shit which would NOT be considered a primary rifle. My point is I am sure there are quite a few guys with guns they are familiar with but from what I have seen when these guys are reported on is that it seems that some of the guns are obvious loaner guns. Somebody with a larger collection loans some of their guns to others because it’s much scarier than having people waking around unarmed. I seen it particularly in that match at that Civil War mountain that is carved. Don’t believe me look it up yourself.

the point was: a child is tested before we allow them to get behind the wheel of something pretty heavy that could take an innocent persons life, much less a gun; everyone agrees and follows the rule..guns are just another killing machine but shouldn't be..if we can't regulate just like a drivers license then you shouldn't be able to have one.

the person who unlocked the gun is pretty liable here- it started everything in motion.
