What I'm going to do is keep them tiny and clone a temporary mother off of the bonsai. I'll grow it out for about a month, take clones and then kill it off. That way I can keep a ton of mothers instead of just a few normal sized ones like I used to. I'm going to have a nice little stable, and also tap into my inner Mr. Miyagi and get my zenful bonsai sessions on about once a week.
