no, there dinky, you need 50 to 100 watts for a plant, id only use 100watts for a single plant but others may have had luck with swmaller

If you wanna grow weed man you need to get the right stuff. It's an investment. Theres no 20dollar light that's gona grow you smokable weed. Youre gonna spend your time and money only to be greatly disappointed in the end.
It's like saying you want a great Dane but you dont want it to get big so you won't give it as much food and space so it'll stay small. Doesn't make sense does it. The dog will still be huge. Just skinny and weak and there won't be much meat and it won't taste good when you eat him
Lol

If you want to do a true micro grow use photos clone then let root in small cups top them and flower immediately. Use something like a spider farmer 100w smd.

yes, a plant in a pot on a south facing window will produce a wicked olant, better then that pathetic herb growing light, there shit believe us. 70watts minimum sodium or metal halide light bulb or a 100w led is your first starting point for a single plant

I was always interested in micro growing. I made a tiny cabinet 30 x 30 x 130. I use it to start off my autos which eventually go in a tent under a 135w QB. This is the light i use: https://www.banggood.com/High-Power-30W-50W-80W-COB-LED-Flood-Light-Waterproof-Iodine-tungsten-Lamp-for-Outdoor-AC220V-p-1326561.html?rmmds=myorder&cur_warehouse=CN&ID=48797233
...and i tell you what, its fine. Measured at 48w, which for 30 x 30cm is ok. Yes, maybe not the most efficient but it grows plants. I would be interested to do a full grow with 2 x 50w warm white for flowering.
My point is, some of these cheap ass lights (like the banggood one) might not be so bad. 63w, if your grow area is really micro, id give it a shot.

which light? the first i posted up or the second? the second was a 63watt
Don't buy that 63w lamp. It's not even 63 watts. I had an "80w" version sent to me for free. Just tested it at the wall, draws 12w. That won't grow anything, let alone weed.

Just get a QB96 if you want to save money and grow a single plant. If you can't afford it, wait until you can because anything you spend on something cheaper is just a waste.

What I'm telling you is that I have a version of that lamp which claims to be 80w but actually draws 12w (and therefore only delivers 12w of light to the plants). Basically the manufacturer is lying and hoping you won't notice.

An actual 48w light would work, even through flowering, though you'd get loose airy buds. Still OK to smoke though.
