I’d harvest that shit now it’s too ripe. Go ahead an flush now with 45 gals of dechlorinated water and some sort of product called flush ease. I’m a fan of giving them ex lax the last week so they shit all the chemicals and shit out before I go to dry it lol.
I tried that my last grow. Great results.

I took some photos with flash.
A lot of the pistils came brown, but there are still new white coming out...
Some amber on buds getting stronger...

I am back on feeding + added overdrive solution (advance nutrition)

Without your support guys, I would chop it today.

Just can some relax me that I will not get too much couch lock body only high cause of me waiting 7-10 more?
Will it not get too much amber?
I prefer mixed high, not only body high.

Thanks!

The truth is most people, especially if they have gone to dispensaries,.don't have a real idea of finished bud.

Although part of running longer is a higher yield, the main point is maximizing the genetic potential and getting all the terpenes and thc possible.

You do not yet know the progression, or stages, of flower development. The trichrome check comes at the end, and isnt even really necessary.

What you need to focus on is those stages and watch and observe. Very few ever want or grow couch lock accidentally. It wont happen with the help of this thread.

But if you insist on pushing to harvest early (obviously early by the experience of all of us...and WE KNOW the breeder time is FOS!),and dont take the annoying ribbing that comes with the wisdom...you will have chopped early and get a quick fast buzz that ends in 30 minutes.

Instead of a mind blowing NL happy buzz that goes for a few hours.

Wait. Post pics. Ask Qs, but dont chop. And ask us why it doesnt smell much...

It's just not ready yet. The pistils should be completely retracted to the calyx. They just aren't. They are sticking straight out.

It's your plant and you're going to do what you want regardless of what anyone says, but if it was my plant I'd wait.

Waiting longer isn't going to turn it into ultimate couch lock bud. I don't know where people get that. Same place where they think flushing is needed before harvest and that they need to add CalMag I guess. GL.

I wouldn’t go 21 days more, With him watering every day changes the CO2 so the change transformation with and what 10 days not 21 days but don’t listen to me man I’m from the backwoods, where Temperatures and humidity and CO2 changes fluctuates all the time and remember I used to grow trees outdoors not in tents

I am still waiting .
Don't know about the rest buy when I didn't gave calmag I had cal deficiency.
Specially if I run ro water.

Everywhere I read says if you don't want couch lock, harvest when the trichoms are non transparent white and not a lot of amber...

My tap water is 35 ppm and I have no calcium or magnesium issues.

My nutrients are Part A/B and Part B is CALCIUM nitrate. I also use Epsom Salts which is MAGNESIUM sulfate. They get everything they need from my nutrients without having to add bottles.

Those sites are good starts for complete beginners but shouldn't be taken as gospel. There is plenty of incorrect information on all of them.

Got it, you do give cal-mag, only another way...

This is great site, look at the harvest guide, its very detailed, many examples include special cases like ready buds with white pistils, too much light etc

It also point to a full ready to harvest gallery that give an idea what to look for

Also this is what I read in Jorge Cervantes book.

Any better guide to learn from ?

Thanks

My point was with a quality nutrients they should have all the calcium and magnesium they need. Supplemental CalMag from a bottle isn't needed. I never said I don't give my plants calcium and magnesium.

Plenty of experienced growers on here to listen to about when a plant is ready. Problem is most people don't listen and claim their growweedeasy guide said otherwise and chop early. There is too much focus on trichome color and not the actual status of the plant.

Agree.
And I am listening :)

But I cant just ask all the time.. I need to learn how to know myself.. and that's the guides I know...

In short most of them are talking about harvest when 80% of the pistils are brown or 20% of trichomes are amber.

If someone has a better guide I will thank him.
