Again I gave you two posts of solid advice as you continued to argue what you were doing was ok. By the third time I posted I got bored of your arguing and sarcastically told you to continue to do as you were. It was obvious you had no intention of listening to my first two posts of solid advice. I wished you good luck and stopped responding to you.
You got me pegged wrong. I don't know everything, actually far from it. But what I do know I try to help others with. More often than not the OP refuses to listen thinking they know better. This thread is the perfect example of it. More reading and less arguing would help a lot of people out.
You did. You gave me perfectly good advice. You told me what to do. But you didn't tell me why.
How do I know who you are without then researching whether or not you are the authority to pay attention to?
The other guy told me WPM and gave me a starting point to go figure out s*** for myself.
Which then gave me the holy s*** moment to drive to action.
My learning style dictates that I figure crap out for myself and I'm very appreciative of people who point me in the direction of that. I really dislike people who tell me what to do without telling me why unless I've already judged them to be an authority on the matter. Which no one on a random website is ever unless I've been hanging out for a long while, paying attention, which I have not.
I hope my behavior has been reasonable based on this.
Btw: I ran a group of programmers for years who called me Dr House. I am definitely on the scale somewhere so I might miss stuff.
