Smells like cat pee,normal?

I always loved coming home to the weed smell so i never ran filters,my lemon-lime kush has a beautiful citrus smell thats killer! But my headband haze has developed a nasty cat pee smell almost 7 weeks flowering. Plant seems healthy (happy frog soil/hlg 600/light morbloom every other two feedings/good venting) so is something rotting here or is this normal on some strains?Edit:sorry bout the dog hair,lil' bean love checkin on the plants with me.

sounds like a nice plant to me, cats piss was thron about years ago and genraly on high thc plants if i remmember correctly

Lol yay smell and flavor does matter. Which makes me worry about this shit! This is a pic of the bottom buds,dont look very good but its mine. I heard bout 11-12 weeks to flower,but i figure it'll be done when its done. Love haze,wanna try ghost train bad!

As I said the dog shit smell went with drying/cure. So fingers crossed that cat piss smell goes for u as well haha

I had a Killer Kush auto that smelled normal. After some time in flower it started developing the cat piss/ammonia smell. I was like wtf but read online it is normal so I let it be. 1st day of drying it completly lost its piss smell ( which I was growing fond of ) and started smelling like hay or dry grass. During curing however, it started smelling again, but this time it smelled of kush/skunk, which was typical cannabis smell. I was relieved but I have to say I was sad the piss smell didn't stick to it lol would have been interesting to smoke

Its weird,if you brush up against it you get the ammonia smell,squeeze a bud and get that skunky smell and super sticky!

Then most likely she will smell skunky after the cure. Mine was exactly the same, forgot to mention it

Be glad you have a stinky cat piss smelling plant. I’ve read posts where people were complaining because they can’t smell their plants!

Cat piss skunk was a thing back in the day, totally normal, if you clone it and start chucking you can start your own elite seed bank. Just pick a random Japanese word as a name and you can't go wrong!

I had a supposed White Widow that I had to get rid of because it smelled like cat piss. That was 15 years ago, never smelled weed like that since. Just try something else.

Nah the smell dissipated after cutting/drying. Still has an incredibly dank aroma just not poo. Like a musky grape smell. It’s smelly enough to escape Manson jars

I had a catpiss pheno in a blueberry strain about 10 years back so its pretty rare but cured you couldnt tell.
