Should I defoliate?

I think I’m about 50 days old. Should I remove any more leaves?
Just curious. I’m not too too far into flower.
Just wanted opinions.

Lollipop is the way to boost yields at this point

I'd clean up some of the shaded undergrowth and take off any fan leaf that's covering a major bud site, but that's it. Doing too much will take growth away from the buds, but a little will stimulate growth.

As suggested I'd remove the lower 25% of the plant. Unless you want to collect larf.

Don't defol anything ever unless you want a smaller yield.

Any strain in any grow will yield higher with lst and some leaf tucking than a defoliated plant would

Pull your plant out of the pot and trim off all the smaller roots. Those smaller roots are stealing nutrients from the bigger better ones

And at what point do eaves no longer contribute more than they consume. What is the needed percentage of productive foliage for optimal photosynthesis?

The leaf is either a sink or a source. During growth the leaf is a sink after full grown it is a source. Even a dying leaf is only dying because the plant is transporting the nutrients out of that leaf and into other areas.

There is no such thing as unproductive foliage.

correct. The leaf is there for a reason and the plant will get rid when it wants. All this science jargon is a load of rubbish wrote by boffins who probably never grew a plant in there life, side by side comparisons over many years of experiment gives all the answers who will ever need. Leave the plant alone
