No mayo salad dressing
Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon celery seeds
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 dash black pepper
1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon parsley
1 dash ground basil
6 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup rice vinegar
Combine ingredients and mix well. Makes about 1-cup
Coleslaw without the mayo

1/2 whole cabbage -- shredded
1 whole green pepper -- julienned
1 whole carrot -- shredded
1/2 whole Sweet onion -- minced
1/2 cup Jicama peeled, shredded
1/2 cup No mayo salad dressing
Shred the cabbage very thin. Combine with pepper, minced onion, and
carrots.
Mix the salad dressing into the slaw. Some say to heat the dressing
before adding, I find this optional. Probably heating will help wilt the
slaw if no time is available to refrigerate overnight
Cover and refrigerate 8 hours or overnight. Add jicama and stir again
before serving.
Substitute 8-peeled boiled potatoes cut into 3/4" cubes to make potato salad.
