" We know better" nah you do mate, seems you know much better.Pretty easy, it's a thread about societies willingness to label people racist and put them out there for the world to hate. I don't believe for a second that if only white people were in that lobby she would have said, "You know what, I must have left it in the cab." and called it a day. She would have picked a thief from the people there and she would not be hated the world over for being something that she may or may not be.
I think it's a sick turn for our culture. We are too ready to turn on people without knowing the facts.
Assault is not assault either, did she beat the kid with a hammer? Did he slap him in the face? No, she was trying to grab what she thought was her phone and tried to stop him from leaving with it. She wasn't trying to assault him and he was uninjured. Under the law it's still assault as you say, but we know better, or you should know better. In any other country this would have been a minor thing, but in America, we are desperate to find the next person to hate. Got to have a few people a week to hate.
yeah this just caught my attention because of the way it blew up across the globe. Seeing it even Japanese news and she’s the same age as my son so it upset me how they treated it.So, lemme get this straight, a minority woman accuses a minority child of stealing her phone and assaults him.
Media: let's make her perceived whiteness the crux of the story and publicly shame her for being something she isn't.
Lol, this isn't even a story if not for her perceived "whiteness".
How about we let the courts deal with this petty crime and hold our moral outrage for the media selling us click bait on a nothing burger.
Well much better than people saying throw her in jail because it’s assault. Yes. Much better." We know better" nah you do mate, seems you know much better.
You keep wanting to Covington prep this girl, which I find weird. Two wrongs don't make a right. Hotel was wrong, she was wrong. Doesn't make it right to make her a racist on the world stage until that is proven. And I think a grown ass man using his celebrity to do this to a young woman is not right. He could have handled it differently, and I admit, his beef always seemed to be more with the hotel, but he allowed it to be taken away from him and turned into a racial issue.
What media are you talking about? Because the clickbait is this thread, and it is on media. So, lemme get this straight, a minority woman accuses a minority child of stealing her phone and assaults him.

I'm a jazz fan and I had never heard of the dude. Celebrity might be a stretch.. . . . . . And I think a grown ass man using his celebrity to do this to a young woman is not right. . . . . . . .
Yes, when things like this get blown out of proportion for their own gain, the media is the problem. They have already made her "white" to suit a narrative and obviously don't care what the outcome is as long as they make that money. You keep wanting to Covington prep this girl, which I find weird.
You don't get to shut up a guy who kid and himself were victim of a assault and racist profiling.
If your issue is with this guy using social media to elevate this very real problem, sure maybe. But just because he is someone in somewhat successful career means he should just shut up and take the blatant racism? That seems a bit racist in itself to suggest that.
But I guess that is the power of the Covington troll, to diminish the impacts of very real racism by whatabouting the amplification.
Did the guy who got the cops called on him for telling a white lady to leash her dog get the same scrutiny from you? How about the kid who was blamed for grabbing that white woman's butt, when it was his backpack?
What media are you talking about? Because the clickbait is this thread, and it is on media.
More 'media' as the problem bullshit.
I’ll believe you, that’s how it’s being reported so I believed it.I'm a jazz fan and I had never heard of the dude. Celebrity might be a stretch.
What 'media' is pushing this?Yes, when things like this get blown out of proportion for their own gain, the media is the problem. They have already made her "white" to suit a narrative and obviously don't care what the outcome is as long as they make that money.
I personally don't care what the little cunt gets because she seems like a shitty person, regardless of her ethnicity, but this doesn't excuse the fact the media is fueling the fires of what they feel divides your country for their personal gain. Its pathetic and you defend them with your moral outrage. Congrats on being a cog in the wheel of whats wrong with society.
If you are going to use an example from your own life, you might not want one where you justify it by saying you didn't even hit him that hard (with a 2x4?). Why say that? In any case, "zero evidence" is what Trump has been saying for a while. We all know Trump is guilty, that he prevented evidence from being being gathered and used to convict him. "no evidence" doesn't mean you didn't do it, you kind of said you did. No evidence just means the state may not punish you.I was lucky enough to get my name and photograph put in the local rag. Assault and battery with the dangerous weapon a 2x4. The case was dismissed after I spent about $2,500 in attorneys fees but no one will ever be made aware of that. It trashed my relatively good name and reputation and I didn't really didn't even hit him that hard. In any event there was absolutely zero evidence but I'm stuck with that reputation because it was a slow news day. I liken it to the woman who accuses a man of rape and then rescinds the accusation a week after he has made the paper and everyone including his wife and family as well as friends and employers will never see a retraction and so the poor bastard is scarred for life. Personally I think the woman should spend time in jail and not just be able to walk away. Your life can be destroyed permanently unless you're willing to pack up and leave the state. An accusation is almost as powerful as a conviction. I hope this girl who accused the black kid of having her phone is able to recover and be a productive citizen and realize the depth of the racism problem. Then again who knows.
INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY IS THE BIGGEST PILE OF B******* I HAVE EVER HEARD. JUSTICE AND THE CONSTITUTION HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE DISPOSITION. THOSE F****** ASSHOLES
no outrage given for the computer tech whose life as he was living it is ended because a Retrumplican doxxed him while accusing him of election fraud in Georgia for no good reason? I thought you cared about people.yeah this just caught my attention because of the way it blew up across the globe. Seeing it even Japanese news and she’s the same age as my son so it upset me how they treated it.
We can all agree it's bad when media promotes stories based on pigmentation prejudges just to sell ads. But where is the line between pushing a story and reporting it? In this example the Guardian is trying to sort out a mess caused by a TV personality using ethnic and religious fear to further his cause. By them reporting on it, are they part of the problem?Yes, when things like this get blown out of proportion for their own gain, the media is the problem. . . . . . .
May I suggest you start a thread expressing outrage over this too?I’ll believe you, that’s how it’s being reported so I believed it.
I agree she seems like a shorty person, but she appears to be an alcoholic and that is one bitch ppppppppppppppppppppYes, when things like this get blown out of proportion for their own gain, the media is the problem. Long post and I’m with kids, but I don’t see this as a vigilante type of Trayvon thing, anything can escalate in America to a bad situation obviously, but unless we hear otherwise she’s not out there trying to be a cop. To me the Trayvon case was clearly a guy out looking for trouble. Plus the cops told him to stand down and he didn’t.I apologize @DaFreak. I am not a psycologist or anything even approaching someone that studies people. If I was I might have made this observation earlier, I don't know.
I think it comes down to sexism and not seeing it through a non-sexist mindset. Maybe this woman's reaction was or wasn't racism, its hard to tell. But let's look at it from a slightly different angle.
The above story is about someone who felt they had a right to confront and assault a teenage black kid. This ended differently of course, thankfully.
How did Trayvon Marting being killed by the child murderer strike you?
To me it is scary similar.
Black teen out enjoying their day.

Only to be assaulted by some crazy person.

Maybe it might seem different, but then think about being a young dad having a nice time out with your family.
View attachment 4784656
And you are all of a sudden confronted with someone assaulting your family.
View attachment 4784659
And to get them away, you push them.
View attachment 4784660
Only to have your nice family time turn into a murdered father.

How easy could that have been this guy and his kid if this girl had a gun?

What 'media' is pushing this?
That is what is important to consider if you are not another paid troll propagating this clickbait.
The place that I saw outed her was the same tabloid pushing the Hunter Biden propaganda. It is not my fault that people are pushing this online, I can't stop people from amplifying propaganda. But I can try to help them see it for what it is.
Plenty of threads on Trump and his followers, and yes, America and the rest of the world is entering a very dangerous period, like a Chinese cultural revolution where there is a war on intelligence and science and given voice and power to the idiot masses. But I feel like this is part of that. I see a simple minor problem here but idiots are making this out to be a much bigger problem. Common sense thrown to the wind. So yeah America is going to hell in my opinion. It's outrageous that a group of people threaten others simply for supporting our democracy. Murrica is going to hell, isn't that right, freak?

And yes, you can agree with a politician who is playing games. Prove to the world you’re not a racist. You and many others. I personally find it void of thought and morals.
