What’s your Best/favorite yielding exotic strain?

Hey there bud.
Buds and roses don’t even know what they sell unfortunately. I went there once and they didn’t know anything about genetics, breeders yield etc about their strains. They just out there to sell and make a quick buck.
Green thumb seems fair with pricing and has a good selection. However, same thing. They do no know anything about what they sell )

At this point the Mac seems to be the option if I can find it. Neptune’s net has 10 regular seeds right now for about $900 current bid. Hopefully I can get it.
Word yeah I know the feeling. I get so frustrated going into shops. Try to support the local businesses but like you said most of them are just trying to make a quick buck and have no real love for the plant. Just suggested them bc I thought maybe you could possibly score a MAC cross.

Second that. However, I just wanted to see if anyone grew any type of gelato, Runtz, sunset sherbet, thin mint GSC phenos crosses that were yielding 3+ and had more gas smell then fruity and were purple/pink with orange hair )). That can point me to the right breeder and bank where to get it. That’s all! :)
No judgments or explaining me what’s an exotic and how I should go about it. Lots of judgy professors here I see :))))
The other one I think of is Wyeast. Was the original Compound genetics breeder.. He had some fire gelato and runtz stuff last year. Can probably get those for a lot better price than the MAC.

I wish just typing purple and looking at pictures would give me an idea of what it would be like from personal experience :)
Bud rot sucks :(
OG kush unfortunately wont cut it anymore for me
Thank you
Yeh, I just like bud porn.

Any thought on First class genetics? Ray is selling apple fritter for 1k per clone. Was wondering if the guy is legit. Seems local here in LA. Thanks

Popped moby grape from thug pug, paid a grip as well too and got pure purples exited as well each is looking like keeper stacking hard as hell and one pheno that’s green waiting to see if it purples up, from what I’ve seen most are green and purple up late so I’m pretty happy about the lot of purples

Greenpoint restocked the Mac1 x Stardawg. Only $84 a pack with the current 40% off code. I’m sure there are some fire keepers in those packs.

Personally, I think your search for that "Exotic" perfect strain is going too be very elusive.
Just go with a good seed company (Humboldt/Bomb/Barney's Farm) that are fresh & produce.
It takes 3 months at least to produce a crop, so why fuck around?
Just buy good seeds from a reputable company & all will be good
Oh, just saying, I fucking hate your Avatar/name :)
You think those three seed banks are better than seeds from ilgm?

better is a relative term. all depends what your goals are.

ilgm has some nice strains but afaik he doesn't have any official collaborations. So everything you are buying from them is most likely S1s they created from breeder packs so they could offer those strains. will it grow good weed? probably. will you be able to find the pheno you are looking for and will it have the same kick that it got its hype from? maybe? good luck!

when you are buying packs from known breeders thru seedbanks what you are paying extra for is knowing the lineage of the plant, as well as knowing your seeds were made using the same male/female that an elite cut was produced by. at least in theory. plenty of hype strains are untested pollen chucks anyway, or were bred using unstable genetics so you have to do your homework.

Some of my best genetics I have came from backyard breeding that friends did, that I got for free. So not saying to pay $1000 a pack for Runtz.

but If I am paying for seeds I want stable genetics from an IBL so I went with BOG (rip) when I last stocked up.

and if you are growing for production, and your customers want Gelato 33, its probably worth it to pay $250 for the real deal rather than trying to save $100 on seeds and waste 6 months of your life to find out that they aren't what you want.

Yeah that’s 100% true, as for me, I definitly need yield, most important thing as long as it doesn’t mean my bud will be trash lol, but if it’s good weed and has intense yield I’m all for it... I only have a 4x4 space and I need to make the best out of it... what would you recommend? Too yield? Not too smelly as I live in an apartment complex, but could be sweet as I don’t think that matter too much...? I was originally going with zkittles from ilgm... I don’t know if any other place that has a good reputation for good seeds...

theres a lot wrapped up in what you stated but to keep it simple, even if you buy packs directly from a breeder, the yield, smell, etc are all going to vary even with different phenos of the same strain. until you have hunted through a pack to find exactly what you want and clone it, i cant say for sure any strain that is going to meet your exact wishes.

and maybe i wasnt clear before. i suggest to not base your search off of seedbanks. find the breeder of the genetics you want. then see who their official seedbanks that carry their gear are, then buy from them. and if still not clear, ilgm is not a breeder in traditional sense. he takes other people's work and copies it (via selfing) and then makes it available for sale which has its pros and cons.

if you are not sure what exactly you want, then I would go for one of the other suggested seed banks in this thread and go with a known breeder that they rep.

Go to The Attitude in the UK & use ROLLITUP in the discount box & receive 10% off your order.
Best seeds/service around.
That's my recommendation
Merry Xmas :)

Thanks for the advice, I know seeds can be unpredictable.. hopefully I will run into some good ones and learn the art of cloning :)

I grow under gavita pro 1000 de, in 5 gallons buckets, coco, 16 plants scrog with high ceilings that covers canopy of 5x5 and usually get from 3.5 - 4lb with GG #4.
Is that GG4 clone only... 3.5-4# per DE light? I knew she yielding well but man that's a big number per light and if your running 16 per 5x5 you aint vegging that long either.

Yeah I would say a max of 5 week veg... since it’s pretty cramped in there with 16 plants...
