To be honest the rot I’m seeing doesn’t seem like botrytis, or if it is it’s Botrytis Lite. It’s quite limited when I find it, and slow to spread. Most of the time it doesn’t even involve a whole flower site. So as far as rot goes, I guess I’m lucky - it’s just annoying to slowly whittle this plant every day lol
Could be spider mites.rot, presents like that outdoors

So bad enough I'm running. The hard side of 65% humidity, I've taken all my sugar leaves off because I knew I was gonna be slow anyway. 10 day mark upstairs doesn't have a lot of airflow, but some. Downstairs same situation humidity like 65 60 low with more air flow.
This is where it gets tricky, you can end up with hay or dank. I usually go to where I can snap the cotton balls off, then the snow-cones, then the bigger stuff. I throw the bigger stuff in paper bags for maybe a day or more if needed, then sit in the Recliner with New Improved Trimming Station, which is always cardboard boxes lined with newspaper to hold branches, another to sit on lap while trimming, another for trimmed buds, and a box for stripped stems, branches, and duff.
Does anyone else snag all the little calyx, bracs at the stem / stalk? I love those little treats.
Anyway, advice on the humidity/timeframe greatly appreciated.
Soon I'll be in Trim Prison at night, deer season starts Monday. This is the time of year I get to live the dream. For real.

Ehh lil update on myself. I’ve been following along with your updates. I’ve been busy trimming a little more than 2 pounds. It sounds good and all and smells nice enough but I can’t help but be a little dismayed. I some of my bud is so red at the tops it has me questioning weather it’s early stages of rot. I’m going to get my most questionable bud tested for containments.

Still have 1 full plant left to chop. Just cut a lot of rot out of the edges of her where she was less protected by the rain. Outdoor growing way too discouraging. In the future I think I’ll only flower outside using light dep.D7AE4A6A-9D47-4F90-B0D9-CDFC86B9507C.jpeg

OK so Damage Assessment
As per sticking to plan and letting them go as long as possible, heres where Im at. I have a plan, and I want to keep to it. After two steady days of rain I have had to remove three more sections of bud rot. That is what I saw after inspecting.
What worries me more is I am seeing sections turning yellow underneath, directly on the colas, and it doesnt look like a healthy yellow. (last pic)
Positive aspects are the colas that are surviving are showing advanced stages of color changing and signs of completion. I swear I cant see a single white pistil, then I take a pic and I say wtf.

So heres some pics, I could have taken some more representative of the garden, but it seems like every time I go out I find myself looking for the scissors.

I am at a point where my plan and my gut instinct are colliding. But for now, hanging out, hanging in, and hanging on.

I think there's other options too, I'm gonna go auto next year for some strains. I also hear LSD and M.O.B. are good.. Also going to try Incredible Bulk and maybe BC Bud. Big Bud. There I'm all outta acronyms. And stuff.
So far my purples the strongest smoke wise.

Supposed to be nice tomorrow I think? Besides that, if it were me, I'd probably just chop that before the next rain. Not saying you should strive to be like me, by any means.

i did Autos earlier in the season as an experiment this year. Didn’t like it, I won’t do it again. I planted in May and they didn’t finish until mid July. In full flower, the plants hated the heat and humidity. Bud development suffered and had mold problems on all plans. I’ll stick with photos outdoors from now on.

Autos there. Photos here. I know. Bored and dreading hacking another down tonight. But my Dragonfruit needs to be tied up. And a Snow temple is just getting massive. Mealy bugs, hard defol, over crowding and PM added some length to my finish.

Well to tell the truth you saved me a ton of grief. It seems every time I try something 'new' it ends up being a bunch of shit.... Like that stupid trike scope

Spent a few hours in the garden today thoroughly going through all the plants. Couple pieces of Bud rot here and there easily cut off and tossed. Other than that things seem to be going very well. Did a pretty good defoliation on a few of them. I have two fans going on them from 7:00 at night till about 10:00 in the morning everyday seems to be helping. Guess I'll just keep dodging the rain when I have to and let them grow. I figure I have at least a few more weeks on a few of them.

They weren't true autos, but I did run a few semi-autos this year as an insurance policy: Boreal Lights from Boreal Seeds,. They were pretty fun to grow, fairly loose bud structure so not a lot of problems with mold. I should've done a better job trimming it, but it was nice herb to have in the early fall/late summer after I'd run out of last year's harvest. Could get stuff done after smoking it. I still have the vast majority jarred up of it as I harvested other things that hit me harder and struck my fancy a bit more (mostly a big bag of Sour Boggle buds I knocked onto the floor of the barn after trimming, dusted it off and figured that'd be my main stash for now).

I ran some meph autos outside, they didn't do great because rot hit early. I brought them inside but the switch messed with them and days kill you with autos.

Autos indoors. Head stash indoors.

HUGE MONSTER hash trees are outdoors.

Thats my new approach.
