2x2 Bud journal with new Mars Hydro Ts1000 for “Mars Hydro Cup” contest

Hey everyone this is my Budding journal for the “Mars Hydro Cup” contest. So PLEASE like and follow it, I could really use a new Mars Hydro FC model light to replace leds/cobs in my 3x3 tent.
This journal which will be updated weekly will follow my 2 plants flowering journey under the Mars Hydro Ts1000 that I painstakingly saved to purchase specifically for the job.
The journey began on Sept 30 in my 2x2 Secret Jardin DS60 tent, when I replaced the 600w Growstar led/Cree Cobb unit, 100w cfls and led type bulbs with my shiny new Mars Hydro Ts1000. From then on they loved it, only receiving it for 12hrs a day are now beautifully in bloom only 13 days later. Pistols started at only 6 days. Now they’re everywhere, such a difference in them since light change. Mars Hydro thank you. I’m excited as are whoever follows this post to see what your light is going to do to my plants.

First 4 pics are of the previous lighting before Mars Hydro went up on Sept 30. The 2 plants exact strains are unknown. Both most likely hybrid, 1 more sativa dom other more Indica. Vegged and LST’d heavily (no topping) before being Scrogged. Also I had just defoliated them before scrogging so they were a little bare. Next few pics are random dates ranging from oct 4 till yesterday Oct 12, last day of any LST work. Gonna let them soak in those Rays from the Mars Hydro Ts1000 they’ve been loving for 2 weeks.

Just flowering in 2x2 under it, unfortunately I only own one of their units. I’d love to win this contest and get one of their new style ones ones for it. And Im vegging 1 photo clone from one of the budding plants, in there. And 5 autoflowers (4 different strains ranging in age from 3-15 days from seed ) in my 3x3 tent under 2 LED/Cree Cobb units, 1x1200w quad cree Cobb and 1x600w duel Cree Cobb unit. Lots of light, just the burple kind. I’d love to win the Mars Hydro giveaway and win a new unit to replace the burple LED units
But here’s a pic anyways, the 2 oldest (1 blueberry auto fem and 1cheese autofem) were just LST’d 1.5 days ago. Coming along nicely, have 7 colas now after the LST. The other 3 younglings ( 2 Royal Dwarf and 1 Tangie-mastic) are still a week away from 1st LST.

Morning everyone
Updated pics of the action early on day 14 under the Mars Hydro Ts1000 light in the 2x2 tent. Things look nice and juicy,side leaves getting bigger and spreading over canopy. Soon all the defoliation I did 5-6 days ago will all be regrown. Lots more pistols shooting out everywhere as the budlets all reach for the light. I have the Ts 1000 dimmer set to max and I think I measured 10-11” away from tallest cola so height wise I should be good. Unless someone can tell me otherwise? I’m always welcome to other growers opinions. I in no way am claiming to be an expert at this. I just like to grow and smoke. And like my plants love a good Light . Thanks again for the amazing product Mars Hydro!

My autos are in a different tent, some pics above (3x3 tent with Burple led lights). This journal is more about my 2x2 with photoperiods under my Mars Hydro Ts 1000 there only 2 weeks into bud under it.

I think they’re amazing lights! From me. I saved for weeks and sold another burple system I had to get this Nars Hydro Ts1000. And nothing but amazed since installed

Nothing but sunshine, leaves and buds in this 2x2 under the Mars Hydro Ts1000. Day 14 since the flip and all is looking good! Loving the rays the Ts1000 pumps out, 24.6’C and 46.4% RH. Always late summer in the 2x2

After these 2 photos are done in the 2x2 I’ve got a beast of a clone (taken from the budding plant top right in Mars hydro pics) Vegging in 3x3. That I’m gonna bud alone and scrog the hell out of lol. It’s gonna fill the 2x2 completely by itself muhahhahaha. I’m serious it’s a BEAST never been topped or cloned, just LST’d the shit out of. See pics, it’s gonna be so much bigger after I stick in a 3 gallon fabric pot (currently in a 1.5 gallon plastic pot) before moving over. Then scrog the shit out of, betting on 8oz from it. I’ll do another thread on its grow once it gets moved to the 2x2. 8 weeks or so give/take??

When Scrogging blast it with lots of silicates and aminos. House and gardens aminos is my brand but its so much more helpful this way. Way easier to work with the branches and node spaces are tiny

I use a mix of synthetic and organic. I prefer organic over synthetic but its so much easier to use synthetic for boosts.

I’ve had disastrous mishaps with synthetic in past. Kinda gun shy of them now, organic easier to use and little to no flush needed at harvest if you time feedings right

I am buying a 5x5x72 or similar though. With California lightworks LEDs. Thats my ultimate game plan. I should be able to afford both after this grow. Fingers crossed.
