Laughs ;-) That's great thanks SSBCal. I was checking that site the other day as it goes whilst researching the potting mixtures. Oh my goodness so much to learn lol !! The site looked very helpful also.
Its good for details and visuals on footprint/par ect. Just thought of this, if you buy amazon, check the gift box. Pkg will come in amazon box not showing what you got.

Hey SSBCal, I have seen the viparspectras P series, the XS is a no go as its not available in the UK without shipping from the states. That is a no-no, not because of import tax, but more as I'm very nervous about drawing any attention period!! I'm thinking 80 x 80 x 160 could be a better option as JMystry suggested, I really don't want to have regretted going to small. If you can advise on P series suited to this size that would be awesome. ;-)
If you are that paranoid because you are breaking the law I would advise against growing. Not trying to be a dick just the harsh reality. Not worth getting in trouble with the law for two autos.

Agreed, but also have NO clue what the laws/fines are in UK

I don't think you are being a dick, just more logical! I have have had it my mind, as long as I have the right set up that's efficient, small, drawing minimal power with a light that doesn't raise curiosity to helicopters, use of minimal power outage, the right carbon filter and fan that leaks no smells that extract heat without no one noticing I will be fine and will settle. I don't talk my business and keep myself to myself, barely have any visitors so this has made me think I will be ok. I think it's more the case of better to be cautious knowing I have covered all that I can to safer than sorry to feel ok about going down this route.

I wouldn’t worry too much about electricity draw. A portable ac or heater consumes as much power as 10 quantum boards

We're talking cm I suppose. For that, you could get away with one p1500. They advertise 3x3 veg-2.5x2.5 flower but it's more like 2.5ft veg/2ft flower. 2 p1500's would be best.
attention wise, just grab some pepper seeds or something, grow em in your window and if someone suspect's the real grow , swap out the plants in the tent for a short time and show their ass your growing "peppers" lol

They have done good stepping up with the using samsung and meanwell. One thing I wonder is.. if a bigger heatsink was installed.. could a larger driver be used to get more wattage from the wall out of those diodes?

I have a spider farmer sf1000 pulling 102w and it's killing my 2x2 right now. I haven't grown a full flower period with it yet tho. Let's see how it does.

Im guessing so, same diodes / driver as SpiderFarmer and ive read people doing it to those. Would be nice to mount larger drivers outside the tent.

Ty Hydro, are you referring the viparspectras p series when you mention Samsung and meanwell? I have found the 240w Samusng Lm301h 3500k Quantum Board if you referring solely to Samsung products.

P series runs just like the XS series. The XS series just has the better more reputable Meanwell driver and Samsung diodes

I was re-editing the post, as I found a 240w Samsung Lm301h 3500k Quantum Board and wasn't sure if this was another type of light Hydro was referring to. Thanks for the clarification SSBCal

I was doing some more reading up. it is claimed out of all the lights LEC causes less suspicion comparing a similarity to house lights. Any thoughts on this

All good, I think what you found are LED kits you piece together yourself. Careful on those , if you see "gold wires" attached to diodes , they are fake. Thats all i know in those. Happy growing

Lec? Or Led? Lol , yes led you can get away with using more. Just think compared to the "old school" light bulbs that actually used 100watts to power a single lamp. So if you get and use a couple 150 /250watt led grow lights, there is nothing that should stand out to the electric company. I use right around 600 watts for lights/ another 100w or so on fans, humidifier ect. So when i grow my electric bill only goes up about $10us a month. Im sure it differs for everyone. Plus I run my lights at night to save on peak time hours

When I referring to LEC, I should have explained better. It wasn't in reference to the power but more the actual light that can be seen by passers by at night. The appearance of LEC isn't so alarming to raise suspicion
