Leave it or chop it

Right...I've been letting the soil get dry before I water it again. If it's really sunny out and hot it usually dries out in a days time or even half a days time because between what she drinks and what evaporates the water gets used up pretty fast.

I just got lucky and found this one seed in some stuff my biddy sent me and i figured what the hey I'll put it in some dirt...lol. I think it could have yielded alot more and had bigger buds if I woulda planted it earlier and put it in a bigger pot. I think I planted it in middle to late May.

If the leaves are turning yellow that is a normal part of plant maturation. Chop them when you like the look of the buds and the trichomes look milky with some scattered amber through.

Those plants look very healthy I would let them finish! Good work!

Just old seeds maybe 5/6 years old, i just took plants outta tent to take pic back in now, i also have Gorilla Glue + Blackberry Gum seedlings from new seeds.
You'll enjoy the Gorilla Glue. Remember that strain can get fed heavily and take it from what I've experienced through ILGM & Growers Choice seeds. They grow like baseball bats in coco. The plants you see were a run from last year in a 4x8 Zazzy tent with 2 x Mars Hydro TSW-2000 LED Fixtures, 5 gal pots, Mother Earth coco/perlite and Advanced Nutrients "Ph perfect" Micro Grow Bloom 3 part with "Big Bud" Green Bottle during mid bloom. I like that Big Bud seems to increase yield without affecting flavor or quality. I grow for quality not quantity.

Thanks Calvin. That's actually just one plant if you were looking at my pictures. I knew that yellowing was going to occur somewhat I just wasn't sure how much. So do you agree with Jenko? Should I just stick with the bloom nutes and not add any nitro at this point? I'm on day 40 of flowering so end of week 6 beginning of week 7.

Ok best of luck keep us updated. See fan leaves gone and in flower.
Yeah I see that Jenko...thats wild bro. I never thought you could just remove all the fan leaves like that. I thought they needed the fan leaves to convert energy from the sun/lights to be able to produce bigger buds.

Yes sir, discontinue any nutrients 14 days prior to harvest always, just pure water.

The last 14 days should be clean water feed every time for best smoke and end product quality. You don't want left over nitrogen in your plants its what makes them burn hot and taste almost spicy on the tongue. Definitely begin "flushing" (feeding just normal water) if you're only 2 weeks out from harvest.

I would not look for heavy run off either if your doing a 14 day flush, just water the plant until a tiny bit of water drips out of the bottom of the pot. As they say "shoot for 10% runoff". So with 1 liters of water you should only see 0.1 liters of run off roughly.. It takes time to eyeball it but you could always drain into a clean tray and measure with those easier to lift plants.

Dang Cal that's what I'm talking about bro...lol. Damn I wish mine had turned out to look like that. Lol. Mine is a mango and according to what I've read the buds can get as big as softballs. I made a few mistakes I think though so didn't get as much out of it as I probably could have. I've always wanted to try the gorilla glue I hear it's really good.

Honestly that plant was pretty bad quality overall in the end. Not afraid to admit it wasn't very potent but the yield was pretty nice. I believe I got 7 ounces off of each plant.

Look into Advanced Nutrients Coco Connoisseur 2-part "ph perfect" nutrients. It's 2 bottles I use it at a rate of 2 ounces per/5 gal of water. Feed every single watering until runoff drips out and I promise you will get some fat yields without any other additives or headaches. I recommend using PURE COCO preferaby the CANNA brand. You don't need perlite in coco it is extremely hard to over-water even in larger containers like 10 gallon containers.

I love giving any insight I can where I can. I'm a self proclaimed Cannabis Cultivation enthusiast and always looking to improve and always learning new things myself. I'm no professional! Lots of trial & error and sifting through all the bullsh*t.

Yeah from what I read and the way it looks I think I am about 16 to 23 days from harvest and I am just guessing here from what I have read about the strain. This is my first start to finish grow so im learning. I read that you wanna flush 2 weeks prior to harvest but I got my feeding schedule off a few days because I had to order the nutes.(live in bfe if you know what I mean). So today would be normal feeding day I been feeding once a week and I was wondering since the yellowing was progressing so fast if I should just continue with the bloom nutes, maybe add a little nitro, or start the flush. She hasn't been given any nitro already for two weeks hince the yellowing of the fans...shes pulling her nitro from them. Do you think it will make it 2 more weeks without any nitro or nutes?

Exactly cal im the same way always reading and trying to improve my knowledge about it. Trouble is you read so much it does get confusing and crossed up with some saying this and others saying that you have to sort it all out. I looked into advanced nutrients but I thought they were all specifically for hydroponics and I didn't have a hydro setup....yet...lol. I've read some about using coco coir but I didn't have any xp in that and I wanted to be able to get a few nugs my first time out.

Dude trust me I feel your pain. YouTube is very debatable because lots of footage you watch there is going to be marketing and always have a catch to it. Advanced Nutrients works in any growing medium or hydroponic setup. You just mix into your water then feed into the pot.

If you want big yields I found that growing in Coco with those nutrients was the easiest and best so far.. I've tried the full-line of their bottles and yeah you get a bit better yields but the quality doesn't improve it actually decreases in potency. I'm a medical & rec smoker so I consume easily an 8th of weed per/day to myself on average. That is with strong marijuana. When I get some stuff from a friend that looks great I usually have to smoke an entire joint at once to even get an effect. Upsetting!

Always remember that the more quantity you have the quality does deteriorate. I've proven this with a fellow grower that has been growing for 10 years. The longer you veg plants for example (30 days vs 60 days) the 30 day plant is almost always going to yield less but be danker and the 60 day plant is going to be bigger yield more but be weaker and less tasty.

Experimenting is the best thing you can do and always start from the bottom up. e.g just use the base of a product and add things as you get more comfortable. Life's a garden, dig it and enjoy!
