Hey GB, how does the watering system work with that insert? Can't be stock, can it?

I am *very* interested in this thing. :)

No the watering system is remover with the tray and water pump...

This is a factory original accessory for the AG...

The holes you see, go all the way through, allowing the "bio-cells" to wick as much water as it needs...

Bone stock bro... it's called "The Garden Starter Tray"... $25 at my local grow shop...

I am not going to keep posting pics of seeds... but let's just say I am very impressed....

Cheers...

hey just wonderin what you all use for your flowering since the AG doesn't coem with 12/12 do you buy a timer and cord? do you unplug the ag manually, do you hit the light switch manually?

I am getting ready to post some more pics for you...

But I got a question for you

I got a Hanna Grocheck pH & TDS/EC monitor... just like the one on the photo...

I have a pH probe, a TDS probe and a Ground probe... the 4th wire is the power...

When I am calibrating, what do I need to do with the ground probe?

Does it need to be in the calibrating solution with the probes? Both pH and TDS?

Thanks for your help...

Here are the pics I promised...

I re-installed the 35 watt HPS on the hood of the AG...

Shit is growing like it's going out of style... so far only one seed hasn't done anything...

OK, I'll shut up now...

Cheers...:weed:

ay whats up all? i have a quick question i'd like to ask, iv been reading for a while now, so when i start my AG Pro 100m I want it to be perfect with no faults, or not that many haha. Everything is basically down execpt for the rez water, im not sure how i would keep it at a cool temp, and no one has really spoke about in the threads or at least i havnt seen that many. so if you all could help me with that, it would be cool, thanx :D

Looks good man...

You will probably get some... but in my opinion, which isn't worth much, you need way more light.... if you want some quality buds...

But you will have fun and a few bowls to smoke...

Woah look at those. i think u have a few too many plants in there. the roots are gonna strangle eachother in that small res. are you planning on flowering them in there too? if your gonna transplant, do it sooner than later cause you r not using the AG pods. if you are using just a medium (rockwool) the roots will start growing through where the water drips out. this happend to me once and i had to unscrew the AG pod holder and clean out the roots. its crazy how they just wrap around the holes. but yeah so loose a few plants and watch out for the roots.

Happy grow!bongsmilie

Don't mean to be a dick, I know you are waaay smarter than I am, but it is used for grounding purposes... normally...lol...

Sorry... couldn't help it... lol..

I guess the PPM measures conductivity...?!?!? and if so, I guess it would need to be grounded...?!?!? but Potroast said it was a part of the pH system...?!?!?

Don't know man... I just got all of them in the tank and it seems to be working right...

The pH agrees with the "drop tester" and the PPm seems right along with the Mfg. instructions...

Cheers....

Oh what did you think of the tray?

I got roots popping all over the bottom, from the seedlings, not the clones yet...

Oh, look what I just found about the Hanna Grocheck...

"TDS measurements are performed using the 4-4-2 conversion factor of 0.7 so you do not need to convert the readings. Equipped with a grounding bar to ensure more accurate pH measurements and longer electrode life. The HI 981404N is compact and easy to install and use. This makes it ideal for all continuous monitoring applications. " from... HANNA GroCheck Combo Meter HI 981404N

Cheers...

Then it should be grounded full time. Its used/needed for reference purposes in electronic equipment.

Hey everyone , i just bought an ag and im new to this indoor stuff , im more of an outdoor person but i figured i would give this a shot why not keep myself busy over the winter , but any way i have one big question for anyone who could answer ...for those who are using those low watt hps lights (0-100watt) can you just unscrew the stock ones and screw in the hps lights in the same socket ? and if so wat watt should i go with? (without burning out or shorting out the entire system and i plan to use the figure plug as well) and if not do i need to get a ballast to run them ??....any other beginner info would be greatly appreciated...

thanks P.S. Hope someone can help me make this a good grow / experience and i hope to start soon so the sooner I get some help with this the sooner i can post a journal..thanks again
