Although they tower over the other plants, the axillary buds/branches are very appealing. Look to be heading towards producing some nice harvest buds. Beautiful.Quick update on the Grean Bicycles Organic Garden.
Here we have a second round of Icing plugged into the soil with NO re-amending.
Also squeezed in a row of Cherry Pie from pretty much rooted clone. They were untapped but still wasn't anticipating this much stretch

I am not positive. It is the cut that is floating around the very Northwest corner of Cali as "Cherry Pie". She can definitely produce some weight of the nicest frostiest and at times purple nugs.Although they tower over the other plants, the axillary buds/branches are very appealing. Do you have an idea of the lineage? Seedfinder suggests GDP x Durban.
Peat - no cocoIs the peat, peat or coco peat? And for perlite, I try to follow the general rule of 25% by volume I see in some recipes.

I haven't posted any info on it yet bit the bottom half of the mix I just put in my bed is 2/3 Pumice 1/3 peat. There is a concept out there of "Permanent" soil that won't shrink in volume over time when your planning to grow long term plants in containers or in this case reuse the soil indefinitely.Very interesting to know that. Thanks.
I guess sub- irrigated has a different set of requirements for drainage and water retention, compared to other watering methods. I'm trying to find a balance in perlite ratio for smaller containers than are traditionally used for sip.
Really enjoyed reading through this thread sir. Hope everything continues to play out well for you in the new beds. The grean bicycle products seem to be spot on.Update on the first bed - Blumat watering system and first layer of trellis have been installed. Getting close to "set it and forget it"

Have plans for a worm bed but with all of the Honey Do's around the house it is taking longer than planned to get to it. Definitely on the list and will be a great way to minimize inputs.Really enjoyed reading through this thread sir. Hope everything continues to play out well for you in the new beds. Have you taken the dive into a worm bin yet? If you haven't, I would check it out. Can be set up easily/relatively cheap and minimal attention needed once its running. Can never have too much fresh ewc/compost around in my opinion.
