Feed or Flush?

My grow is coming to an end, it has been a long battle. Do I have one more week of battle or should I flush? It is supposed to be Blue Dream Sativa. I can't tell from the trichomes because I don't know how fast they change. I just need a bit of advice if I should flush today or feed one more week. This is the start of week 6, and my plant is not healthy. Roots completely severed 1 week ago. It still drinks and eats, but it is not well and root rot is bad. I have been giving it UC roots and h202 to keep it going.

This has been one hell of a battle and I am glad I got this far and it is almost over.

Holy shit! I did not expect these responses, can you guys elaborate as in why? I believe you I just want to learn, I will feed it and keep going. What am I looking for or how do you know I am that far away? I am shocked.

Well why do you think they're almost there?

She is still pushing pistils and the calyx aren’t swollen. She is going to put on some weight in the next few week. what are they in? DWC, coco, soil?

DWC and their roots fell off last week from root rot. I also have some blame I damaged the roots not being careful 2 water changes ago. Since then it looked like its progressing through flower quick and leaching nutrients from leaves since a good chunk of roots vanished. I'll give it time it is drinking surprisingly.

It changed color and the amount of food its drinking after roots fell. I thought it was accelerating the end, and the trichomes looked mostly milky.
Maybe milky on the sugar leaves but you can’t really get a clear read on the trichomes on the calyx because they haven’t swollen yet.

When you screw up roots, nutrient uptake can get screwed up too. Don’t read too much into what looks like specific nutrient deficiencies. Just keep it light and balanced and nurse’s them to finish. GL.

How do you check ppm or ec? If the roots died and are gone it has less ability to consume.

Plants can change color for a number of reasons. Some bad some not.....that looks like it's not a problem.

Unfortunately I can't check and just go by mixing and trying. I do believe it's a little strong now due to root damage and I'll mix lighter. The tips were fine before root issue and some parts of the plant seem unaffected. I'll mix for week 6 and keep it a little diluted. My food is organic and my ppm meter just keeps giving me fluctuating values. I do hope they fatten up still.

Then you don't really know if they are eating more or less. Organic in dwc is a different animal....are you using anything like great white? Bennies? That might be why your having root issues.

Yes I was. I think I know what happened. Week 4 water change I took a peak at the roots but the top bucked slipped and crashed down. I think the force severed some roots and they started to rot. I started noticing rapid changes since that incident and a decrease in drinking. I also started getting foam and smells and crap on the sides of the res. So week 5 change I took another look carefully but I watched the roots slowly rip off in one huge clump from the bottom and they looked disgusting and made a big mess. I had to use chlorine and h2o2 since then to control the rot inside the basket. I think I'm done with beneficials this grow, they wont outgrow the crap in there and won't survive the antiseptics. All I can do is damage control till it ripens now.

I'd switch to full sterile and reg nutes but that's up to you.

You can prune roots and not have problems. I have done it many times. I have also run organic dwc, I had issues till I got it in check. If you want organic go to soil. Not worth the effort it's one or the other in dwc.....I think you gotta dial in your organic. And by putting in h2o2 and chlorine in you made a cesspool of crap in there
