Man I've wanted to try this tree method, I live out in the middle of the woods. My issue is my trees are all oaks 40' or taller. My kahones are big, but not climb a 40' tree big  I guess I need to rent a bucket truck
Lol man that summer I felt like an ape. The spot was on top of a mountain plateau where you had to overcome +200m in alttitude to even get there - no road so no car possible. Since it was a protected natural district it was untouched nature - the only way to be able to get through the woods was by following "animal streets". Had around 10 plants @ 4 different trees. Had to water manually - was okay until the ponds ran out of water. Had to carry hundreds of liters of water then 2-3km uphill to the spot, by foot. Had a partner in crime back then, so it was ok, also because of the constant removal of ticks. I stopped counting after 120 on me, mostly young nymphs. You hardly feel them crawling.

But the spot was so well hidden, the next year we took wood n planks up the trees to build a sort of balcony which combined the crest of 3 trees. Most trees weren't actually that high - because if you let them grow just wild the sheer amount of them keeps themselves low....
Then installed an automated irrigation system run by a photocell that powered a pump that released water from a 100l barrel, which got fed by plastic planes at the top of the trees, too. One 3m tall indica broke one night in a storm, as up that high there's more heavy wind. But they get plenty of sun, from dusk till dawn :D

dont necessarily have to be at the crest - just at the middle of the tree does suffice, if you place it south, and saw away all pesky treebranches. Try it, it's hard work, but the more you will be proud of yourself. Also is good sport... lol I just remember the other guy fell down the tree one time, but halfway got stuck in a branch fork upside down with his left leg - looked like the ahnged man tarrot card. I couldn't stopped laughing and he got real angry at me at that time :D although its so simple, you just lift one feet and one hand while securing your hold with the alternate body parts.

Afterwards he used a chain as belt to secure himself - which was a good idea actually, because one could rely on feet & the chain only and coudl use both hands to work on the plants (mostly LST ing the sidebranches to the tree branches...)

Need to do that again, but the big problem is to prevent the pots from boiling in direct exposure from the summer sun. Needs multiple overpots & mylar. However, there was some mysterious animal damage which we were never able to pinpoint to the perpetrator - bird nets, poison, mouse traps, repellents - nothing did work and the damage exacerbated so we stopped. Actually that damage started at the end of the first year, so we moved 100m away in the second year, but it didn't help at all - it got worse and worse.

Also the other guy accidentally pissed over a ground wasp nest and had to flee still with his pants pulled down XD amazing what you can observe from up a tree :D

unfortunately i can confirm at least 3 different pests on the ladies, at least i found them dead after the spraying with canna cure yesterday. tomorrow im getting neem oil to drench the pots with, plus something with spinosad as well, ill ask in the hydro store, they should be familiar with everything.

Pyrethrins are good for killing everything, should work like a charm I believe the chemical is derived from Chrysanthemums, so it's pretty natural. I used the hell out of pyrethrins when I used to kill bugs for a living.

have you ever used it on weed? i found my bb when i came back from work with the big fan leaves pointing up like crazy, i fed yesterday before ive applied the insecticide, but she never did that from since she had 6 leaves as a youngster. i fed the usual amount, nothing different...IMG_20200616_173017[1].jpg

Lol, if my customers had weed I never saw it  I'm honestly not too keen on its effects on a plant, I'd holler at the hydro guy that sold it to you, sounded like he had experience with it. More than likely a coincidence, but I would check just to be sure.

Some update, 1st pic left BB X somango, right auto bomb 7 weeks old, 2nd pic ab, third BB, 4th and 5th bb top, 6th ab tops, 7th ab close up. I can't see anything living on the plants so far, after I used the insecticide, they told me to treat again in 3 days, but I'll keep a close eye, and I want to extend that period as much as possible. just a note when i used insecticide remember to rinse a couple weeks prior to harvest aka use a sprayer and fresh water, do it early morning so they dry off prior to full sun exposure, spray clean water every other day till harvest so you rinse it off the buds
