How to use fertilizer ?

Hello ! I have two plants that are approximately three weeks old, and I just bought 5$ plant fertilizer (some water soluble blue powder stuff) at my local hardware store. I'll post pictures below. My question is ; what quantity should I put and how to use it, do I just follow the directions written on the back of the product or ? I need advice, I'm a huge newbie haha And I'm also wondering ; when should I start to fertilize them ? Thank you for your answers !

I agree with starting with about a 1/4 dose, but before you go ahead and do that, we need to know what medium you're growing in. Many mediums are rich in fertilizers, and can last several weeks before you need to add more. Likewise, some mediums are completely inert, which means you need to feed pretty well as soon as the plants sprout.

What kind of dirt are those growing in? There should be enough nutrients int he dirt to last them until you repot into bigger pots. And then once you repot into fresh dirt, they should have enough nutrients to last another 4-8 weeks. That stuff you bought is super concentrated. Be very careful with it.

Well the soil in which they are in right now is some soil that I legit dug up in my backyard, but for when but for the transfer I bought a bag of black soil

buy soil to start, don't bring outside problems indoors. I always separate mine, no cross contams.

Your ferts will work for vegging, For flowering you'll need to lower your 3 numbers (20-20-20). i prefer higher first number, lower other 2 during veg, like 24-8-6, Or close to that, during veg Looking for 5-15-5, 10-30-10, 0-10-10, for flower, get the idea, my growmie friend.

Let's say I put like half a teaspoon of my blue powder stuff in a liter of water, is it too much ?
Does the label say per gallon or litre. Do the math, 3.8 L/gal. If its dose is for indoor 1/2 tsp per gal, and 1-1/3 TBSP PER gal for outdoor, use indoor schedule until its bigger then you can slowly increase from indoor amount to outdoor amount. I didnt read your label. Its common to see those ratios. Be careful if your adding something else. You cannot add a different nute, unless you have another gallon of new water. If you add 2 nutes to same 3.8 litres you have to cut nutes in half, so you don't nuke her, its the total nutes per gallon. Hope that helps.
