I can't provide a scientific answer to justify why but i take 50 clones every 2 weeks for literally 5+ years and always have the whitest, thick sphagetti roots ever. Straight tap water / clonex dip gel until roots are 1/8".. then I add 50% flowering nutes - AN sensibloom ph perfect. They blow up and start literally putting on inches in the cloner on days 10-14. So that's over 6000 clones and they all came out just like this.how does feeding them nutes with less N than he is now going to fix yellowing? i'm curious.
if i tried that up here, i'd never grow a plant. my young ones burn at 0.6 nevermind 2I take them right to an EC of 2.0 when they start getting roots
have you tried the same with sensi grow? not saying you're wrong but less N seems counter-intuitive.then I add 50% flowering nutes - AN sensibloom ph perfect
yeah i have of course i started that way at first because it seemed so obvious like thats the way to do it.. but I was having mixed results and using sensiBloom gives me the results i want everytime, i've also read about others going this method too and with awesome results - again i have no idea why technicallyhave you tried the same with sensi grow? not saying you're wrong but less N seems counter-intuitive.
is your EC dropping ?
A tiny bit
if you dont' have a co2 controller that shows ppm, don't use it if you are guessing.
Ok
is your pH in check?
Ph is rising slowly. 6.1 right now
are you using anythign for root rot? maxigro is pretty much clear when mixed. any other additives?
I put MaxiGrow powder and 2 or 3 drops of cal-mag because my tap water is very soft.
water temps?
Water is 21°Celsius
looks like a Mg deficiency to me. but that depends on how you answer.
Tell me what you think now
I did. As i said, 0.8-0.9 EC MaxigrowThe clones are trying to grow as they have roots, feed them.
i have to feed mine more, and I pH it to 5.8 but it looks like hunger. Is there enough calcium and iron and whatnot in your feed? Not familiar with the Maxigrow. Does it have a micro?I did. As i said, 0.8-0.9 EC Maxigrow
Sorry, i'm just a beginner, but and EC 2.0 is what you see in "Late flowering stage". Some of you guys not to go above 1.2 most of the flowering stage. Now i'm reding to put the cuttings at EC 2.0. hard to understand...Just has to up the EC. I take them right to an EC of 2.0 when they start getting roots, and they don't yellow, rather they explode with more roots and start growing. Once the roots get nice and long I transplant.
Ok. I don't have any advance nutrients here. I have Maxibloom, or FloraBloom & FloraMicro. Have also a Masterblend mix.I can't provide a scientific answer to justify why but i take 50 clones every 2 weeks for literally 5+ years and always have the whitest, thick sphagetti roots ever. I have to say the same.how does feeding them nutes with less N than he is now going to fix yellowing? i'm curious.
Yeah I have been doing this for 30 years and I have one veg feed, it's 2.0 and everything gets it, rooted clones from day one to flip they eat it and the clones explode. But I have heard of all these low feed theories, they never worked for me.Sorry, i'm just a beginner, but and EC 2.0 is what you see in "Late flowering stage". Yeah I even had it in my calculator lol. I can run the #'s if I know how many grams per gallon he is using.
I cant answer on "whats causing the browning?" I did my best to put some air in this roots. May be because my cloner is made of translucent plastic? They just look hungry and whats causing the browning?
I looked up the maxigrow, says complete. I am not experienced with it, I use the flora 3 part.

I didnt weight how much i've put in the water. I just measured the EC until i reached ~0.9Yeah I even had it in my calculator lol. I can run the #'s if I know how many grams per gallon he is using.
What was the EC of the water before adding anything?I didnt weight how much i've put in the water. I just measured the EC until i reached ~0.9
My water is 0.06 ECWhat was the EC of the water before adding anything?
I know that it is strange. It is just because a problem of time between my VEG area and my FLO area.I must admit I have never seen anyone employ the root riot cubes in a bubbler either. You sure that aren't damping off inside those saturated sponges?
