Says 2 for a 5x5..... i would run at least 3 or 4. See what others have to say, LEDs are not my thing.
Hard to really understand what you are saying there guy. Yes there are two boards but the light as a "kit" is only 240w and likely only good for flowering about 2'x3'ther are 2 board with this
i have heard theses are the best leds out ther if you but these quantum borad leds from anywhere else they cost like 300 400 for
Should be plenty of light for a 2x2. Might even be to much. Still.... dont go off my word, im not an led guy.i will only want it for a 2x2 any way
Honestly, it seems like a good price for a 240W actual. Hopefully some of the LED guys/gals will have a look and let us know whether the diodes and other parts are of decent quality or not. If so, I'd pick up a couple for myself to play with.Says 2 for a 5x5..... i would run at least 3 or 4. See what others have to say, LEDs are not my thing.
I just ordered 2 of the MJ 650 and had her ship them by boat instead. Only cost me $100.They're great lights but the shipping costs right now will make you think twice .
yh i know..but still a good price even with the shipping compared to some lights you can get for that price anywayThey're great lights but the shipping costs right now will make you think twice .

Thats mars is not enough light for a 2x2 but the 240w is.yh i have heard they are goood :/ if a mars hydro 600 ts is 100wats true and is good for a 2x2 surely these are good enough at 240wats true full spectrum right and they are better on electric ?
check your math bud. a 4x4 is four times bigger than a 2x2 lol. One of these should be enough. Most people would say a 1000w hortilux is the MOST you can put in a 4x4.PPF is 250.
Youd need at least 6 of them to equal a 1000w Hortilux HID which is 1600PPF. Hortilux is good for a 4 x 4.
So going by that youd need 3 of them to do a 2 x 2 justice.
Im also highly skeptical of any company that greatly overrates their products. Thats the main reason I stayed away from LED for so long.
Id look into the HLG LED myself.
but that will draw 6*240w = 1440w in LM301B which convert electricity better to light, so how should it draw more power?Youd need at least 6 of them to equal a 1000w Hortilux HID which is 1600PPF. Hortilux is good for a 4 x 4.
again, a 4x4 is four times bigger than a 2x2. DO THE MATHNope. Hortilux HPS is specifically made for a 4 x 4.
Gavita says the 1700e is a direct replacement fo a 1000w HID in a 4 x 4 and is 1700PPF.
Sure you can use less, but isnt optimum. One can use Fluroescent too, but isnt optimum. Weed can survive on less, but I want my stuff to more than survive, and want optimum production for my time.
Wouldnt use Mars. They dont use Samsung/Osram Diodes
Its simple math.
Optimum PPF in a 2 x 2 is 800PPF. 1600 in a 4 x 4.
I run a Gavita 1700e in a 4 x 4 and its 1700PPF.
Phillips Toplight Compact is 1800PPF. But you can for now buy the Phillips individually. You have to buy 40 at a time for $32,000.
