I met my as a Pen Pal when she was working as a Caregiver in Singapore. Pen Pal book is Pacific Island Ladies. I worked 3 jobs to earn enough money to bring her here, and I waited on her for 3 years
The province of Aklan. The oldest Spanish settlement in Philippines is where she is from
She was raised all of her life living on a Bamboo hut, that had to be rebuilt every year, had to smoke the hut every night to keep out mosquitoes, no running water, no electricity, no feminine products, had to walk 1/4 mile to the river to bathe, and get water. Had to walk 3 miles each way to school on a dirt road through the jungle with Pythons, and Cobras. Had to pick fruit in the jungle to trade for pencils, and paper, and she never missed 1 day of school her whole life.
I love my wife dude, and shes been through hell in her life, and has worked harder than you could ever believe to get where she is.
When she worked in Singapore, she got 1 day a month off, and was locked in the 30th floor so she could not go anywhere. She earned $150 usd a month. They wouldnt let her eat or drink from their plates, bowls, knives, forks, spoons or glasses, and they would go behind her when she cleaned with a white cloth, and if had the least amount of dirt on it, they made her do it all over.
She wasnt allowed to mop the floors, and had to scrub it on her hands and knees, most of the time 2x a day. She took care of an infant, and 1st grader. She had to cook all the meals ect, and at the end of the day they took her to their Dentist Office where she had to clean that. Both husband, and wife were dentists.
Anyone would be lucky to have found such a fine woman as my wife.
She also doesnt drink, or smoke, but doesnt care about me smoking weed. I dont drink, and we both run Marathons, and Ultra Marathons.
While Im an athiest, she is deeply religious, and gave over $15,000 to the Catholic church last year. I went to the Catholic adjacent to the church for 10 years. She also goes and lights a candle at the church almost daily to pray for people
I love my wife dude. Im 61, and shes 46, and shes the best thing that ever happened to me. I payed for her first year in college, and she did so well after that she got so many free grants, and aard money because of her grades, she basically got a free ride all through med school. She graduated #1 in her class, and has a Dual PHD. Cardiology, and Neurology, with a Masters in Chemistry.
